Product Usage Instructions

Step 1: Power

• Assemble the 12V/3A AC adapter, and plug it into the AC Power Port and power socket respectively.

Step 2: Connecting ISEE Essential to a TV / Projector

• Connect the HDMI cable to ISEE Essential, and connect the other end of the HDMI cable to your TV’s HDMI port.

Step 3: Connecting ISEE Essential to Karaoke Audio System

• Connect the 2RCA/Optical audio cable to the ISEE Essential, and connect the other end of the cable to your Karaoke Audio System, such as Speakers, Amplifiers Soundbar, etc.

Step 4: Power On

• Boot up the ISEE Essential now by pressing the On/Off button on the front panel. After that, you’ll be presented with the Autoplay scene on the TV.

Step 5: Before System Settings

• Insert batteries for the Wireless Remote, then press the setting button for 5 seconds. You’ll be presented with the language setting page on the TV.

Step 6: Language Setup

• Use the Wireless Remote to select your preferred language, and press OK to confirm.

Step 7: Wi-Fi Setup (Skip, if you use Ethernet Network)

• Next, select Wireless Network. You’ll be asked to select a Wi-Fi Network. Select your Wi-Fi Network, enter the password, and select the Connect button.
  Make sure the status of your Wi-Fi Network is Connected, before selecting Finished to complete the system setting. If the status shows Saved, please re- enter the password.

Step 8: Connecting your Smart device to ISEE Essential

• Upon successful connection to the internet, you’ll be re-entering the Autoplay scene, with the QR-Code shown on the middle right of the TV screen. To start linking your smart device to your TV, make sure your device is connected to the same internet network as the ISEE Essential. Please note that you will need to download the KEX Karaoke app for iPad / iPhone/ Android Phone/ Android Tablet Users, before linking up with your devices.

PORTS & INTERFACES

SETTING UP ISEE ESSENTIAL

1. Step 1: Power
   • Assemble the 12V/3A AC adapter, and plug it into the AC Power Port and power socket respectively.
2. Step 2: Connecting ISEE Essential to a TV / Projector
   • Connect the HDMI cable to ISEE Essential, and connect the other end of the HDMI cable to your TV’s HDMI port.
3. Step 3: Connecting ISEE Essential to Karaoke Audio System
   • Connect the 2RCA/Optical audio cable to the ISEE Essential, and connect the other end of the cable to your Karaoke Audio System, such as Speakers, Amplifiers Soundbar, etc.
4. Step 4: Power On
   • Boot up the ISEE Essential now by pressing the On/Off button on the front panel. After that, you’ll be presented with the Autoplay scene on the TV.
5. Step 5: Before System Settings
   • Insert batteries for the Wireless Remote, then press the setting button for 5 seconds. You’ll be presented with the language setting page on the TV.
6. Step 6: Language Setup
   • Use the Wireless Remote to select your preferred language, and press to confirm.
7. Step 7: Wi-Fi Setup (Skip, if you use Ethernet Network)
   • Next, select “Wireless Network”. You’ll be asked to select a Wi-Fi Network. Select your Wi-Fi Network, enter the password, and select the “Connect” button.
   • Make sure the status of your Wi-Fi Network is Connected”, before selecting “Finished” to complete the system setting. Your device is now connected to the internet. If the status shows “Saved”, please re-enter the password.
8. Step 8: Connecting your Smart device to ISEE Essential
   • Upon successful connection to the internet, you’ll be re-entering the Autoplay scene, with the QR-Code shown on the middle right of the TV screen.
   • To start linking your smart device to your TV, make sure your device is connected to the same internet network as the ISEE Essential.
   • Please note that you will need to download the “KEX Karaoke” app for iPad /iPhone/ Android Phone/ Android Tablet Users, before linking up with your devices.
9. Step 9: Connect your Smart device to ISEE Essential (Cont.)

• Linking up with iPad / Android Tablet for Remote Control
  • Search and download the “KEX Karaoke” App in the Apple App Store/Google Play Store Launch the “ KEX Karaoke ” app, and tap the “Menu” bar on the left & tap “Connect” to fill in the IP address that is shown below the QR-Code.
  • Once you are paired, the status shown on the device will turn from“Connect” to “Connected”. You are now paired and able to control your ISEE Karaoke device with your Android Tablet / iPad.
• Linking up with Smartphone for Remote Control
  • Search and download the “KEX Karaoke” App in the Apple App Store/Google Play Store.
  • Launch the “KEX Karaoke” app, press “ ? ”, and Scan the QR-Code that is shown on the middle right of the TVscreen. That’s it! You are now paired and able to control your ISEE Karaoke device with your Android device /iOS device.
  • Once you are paired, you will see the “Connect” button turn to “Connected”. If not, please tap the “Connect” button to check if the IP address on your device matches the IP address shown below the QR code.

HOW TO CHANGE ISEE ESSENTIAL RESOLUTION SETTINGS

1. Step 1
   • Press the setting button for 5 seconds on the remote to enter the “Setting” page on the TV.
2. Step 2
   • Choose “Other Settings” from the page, then enter the password “23456” and select “Home” to exit the KEX Karaoke app, with the arrows on the Wireless Remote. You’ll now be presented with the Android Home page on the TV.
3. Step 3
   • Click the “Folder” icon on the lower right corner and select “Settings”. Select “Display”, and then choose “HDMI Output Mode”. The Settings menu displays a list of available screen resolutions, with your current resolution selected.
4. Step 4
   • Choose a new resolution setting from the menu, and then press on the Wireless Remote. The ideal setting for HDTV is 720p or 1080p with a 30/60-Hz refresh rate. Please refer to your television’s user manual for the correct⏯ resolution, or try several resolution settings until you find the right one. Once it is done, reboot your device by pressing the On/Off button on the front panel.
5. Step 5
   • After booting up, your device will automatically re-enter the “KEX Karaoke” App, and you should be presented with an Autoplay scene on the TV. If not, please select the “KEX Karaoke” App (Icon in black color) on the Android Home Page, to re-enter the application manually. Your device is now all set.

HOW TO CONNECT A WI-FI NETWORK TO ISEE ESSENTIAL

1. Step 1
   • Press the setting button for 5 seconds on the remote to enter the “Setting” page on the TV.
2. Step 2
   • Choose “Other Settings” from the page, then enter the password “23456” and select “Home” to exit the KEX Karaoke app, with the arrows on the Wireless Remote. You’ll now be presented with the Android Home page on the TV.

HOW TO CONNECT A WI-FI NETWORK TO ISEE ESSENTIAL

1. Step 1
   • Press the setting button for 5 seconds on the remote to enter the “Setting” page on the TV.
2. Step 2
   • Enter the password “23456” and select “Home” to exit the KEX Karaoke app. You’ll now be presented with the Android Home page with a “Folder” icon in the lower right corner.
3. Step 3
   • Click the “Folder” icon and select “Settings”. Click “Wi-Fi” to enter the Wi-Fi Settings. The Settings menu displays a list of available wireless networks for you to choose from.
4. Step 4
   • Choose your preferred Wi-Fi from the list, enter the password of your Wi-Fi Network, and press “Connect”. Please note that the keyboard is set with Upper Case Letters as default; please press and hold the letter for entering Lower Case Letters.
5. Step 5
   • Once it is done, reboot your device by pressing the On/Off button on the front panel. After booting up, your device will automatically re-enter the “KEX Karaoke” App, and you should be presented with an Autoplay scene on the TV. If not, please select the “KEX Karaoke” App (Icon in yellow color) on the Android Home Page, to re-enter the application manually. Your device is now all set.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Technical Support Remote Access via Quick Support

• Should you still have any issues with your ISEE Karaoke, please contact us and make an appointment for remote technical support on Quick Support.
• To start with, switch on your Wireless Remote and ISEE Karaoke, Press the “Home” button on the remote and exit from the “ISEE Karaoke” application.
• Now return to the Android Default home page and open the “Quick Support” application. Then, look for your Device ID and inform us of your ID. We will remotely access your device and provide instant Technical Support.

SERVICE & WARRANTY

• Your ISEE Essential is covered with a 1-year limited warranty from the date of purchase as shown on your purchase receipt.
• Please provide the purchase invoice when making a warranty/servicing claim. For internet orders, please refer to your registered email address.

ISEE Essential is covered under our Limited Warranty when: Malfunction of Internal components

• No visible physical exterior damage to the plastic & metal shell, with loss of product functionality.
• No visible physical exterior damage, yet ISEE Essential is unable to boot when the correct power supply is attached.
• Malfunction of Interface Ports; No visible physical damage to the interface ports, and with loss of interface connectivity.
• No visible physical exterior damage, connected to the provided power supply, via our provided 12V/5A AC Adapter, connected to ISEE Essential’s stable WiFi network and updated with the latest software, yet ISEE Karaoke displays errant behavior such as:

1. repeated crashes,
2. unable to play songs,
3. hangs on a purple screen,
4. fails to start.

ISEE Essential is not covered under our Limited Warranty when:

• Cosmetic damage; Physical exterior damage to the plastic & metal shell, but with no associated loss of product functionality.
• Human-Damage; Physical exterior damage to the plastic & metal shell, and with loss of product functionality. Cosmetic damage; Physical damage to the interface ports, but with no associated loss of product functionality.
• Standard Port Wear-and-Tear; Physical damage to the interface ports, and loss of product functionality. Product malfunctions have been due to out-of-date software; please keep your ISEE Essential software up-to-date
