Product Usage Instructions

Minimum Requirements
To use the Sentek IoT Probe, you need an Android mobile device with Bluetooth capabilities and access to the Google Play Store.

Setup Access Point

  1. Open Google Play Store and search for “nRF Device Manager.”
  2. Install the Device Manager App on your Android mobile device.
  3. Open the App and grant Bluetooth permissions.
  4. Click on the symbol in the upper right-hand corner and ensure SMP UUID option is unticked.
  5. Connect to the Sentek IoT Probe from the list.
  6. In the Shell command box, send the following commands to set your access point:
    set wifi/ap_name [name] set wifi/ap_key [key]

Sentek Connect App Usage

  1. Complete the Introduction Wizard on the Sentek Connect App.
  2. Observe WiFi Power on the Scan screen indicated by the cloud icon.
  3. Monitor connection status in the App’s Sim Status Field.

SETUP ACCESS POINT

  1. Open Google Play Store and type nRF Device Manager in  the search bar.
    Install the Device Manager App on your Android Mobile Device. Sentek-

  2. Open the App and Grant Bluetooth Permissions. Select Allow when the App prompts to connect to nearby devices

  3. Click on the symbol located on the right hand side upper corner of the screen and ensure the only devices advertising SMP UUID option is unticked.

  4. Connect to the Sentek IoT Probe from the list by clicking on the name.

  5. Click on the Shell command option located at the bottom right hand side of the screen.
    In the Shell command box, send the following commands to set your access point:

SETUP – Sentek Connect App

  1. After successful installation of the Sentek Connect App, complete the Introduction Wizard by following the instructions provided on the App.
  2. On the Scan screen of the App, WiFi Power can be observed by the cloud icon on the App.
  3. Connect to the probe can be seen in the App in the Sim Status Field. When the Connection is made, the status will change from Not Registered to Registered.
