Product Usage Instructions
Installation Safety Warnings:
- Do not leave the power injector resting on a carpet.
- The power supply and injector are not waterproof and should not be exposed to dripping or splashing water.
- Objects containing liquids should not be placed on or near the power supply or injector.
- Avoid exposing the power supply or injector to excessive heat or naked flames to prevent the risk of fire.
- Ensure the socket-outlet is easily accessible.

Use high-quality low-loss digital coaxial cable.
Plan your cable run to be as short as possible and avoid sharp bends in the
cable. Keep the cable run clear of mains wiring. When drilling through walls,
use a 7mm drill bit and be careful to avoid pipes and other cables.
Wiring your Aerial Downlead:
- Thread the cable through the weather boot.
- Fold the braid back over the outer sheath and screw the F plug onto the cable. Trim inner wire, leaving 2mm exposed.
Installation:
- The power supply unit provides 9VDC power to the aerial’s amplifier. Choose a location close to your TV/PVR, so that a flylead will reach the ANT IN aerial socket and within approximately 80cms of a mains socket.
- Fix the power supply to a wall, skirting board, or similar solid surface in the chosen location.
- Search for channels following the manufacturer’s instructions for your TV or set-top box.
Product Maintenance:
After installation, make regular maintenance checks for wear and tear caused
by weather or wildlife. Also, check connections periodically.

Before you start

clear of mains wiring. If drilling through walls use a 7mm drill bit and be
careful to avoid pipes and other cables.

Wiring your Aerial Downlead
- A. Thread the cable through the weather boot
- B. Fold the braid back over the outer sheath*. Tear off or cut away exposed foil. Screw the F plug (I) on to the cable. Trim inner wire, leaving 2mm exposed.
*To prevent short circuits ensure that no braid touches the inner conductor.

- The power supply unit (11) provides 9VDC power to the aerial’s amplifier, choose a location close to your TV/PVR, so that a flylead (not supplied) will reach the “ANT IN” aerial socket and within approx. 80cms of a mains socket.

If it’s not working –
No picture/Poor picture:
- Check all connections from aerial to TV. Check aerial is facing the nearest transmitter.
- Check there are no close by obstructions between aerial and transmitter.
- Check there are no possible sources of interference close by.
- If the aerial has been loft mounted try mounting outside.
- Make sure new digital coax cable has been used throughout the installation.
- Check the transmitter signal is not obstructed by nearby trees or buildings. Make sure new digital coax cable has been used throughout the installation.
- If in a strong signal area the signal strength may need to be reduced by fitting an attenuator.
