WHALENTUNED 2017 WSI Ghost Billet Intake Manifold Installation Guide

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTION

• Double check that all three (3) runner o-rings are installed, clean and do not show signs of any damage.

• Double check the outer runner to plenum body o-ring is in good shape as well.

• Clean cylinder head surface. Always triple check that there is nothing that fell into your intake ports during this installation.

• We start by JUST installing the lower runner section FIRST.

• Use all supplied hardware, we recommend using at least Blue Loctite as well on all the fasteners.
  

• We recommend installing the fuel rail with the injectors at this step. OEM fuel rail is designed to work with this intake manifold as well.
  

• Examples shown above are installation of the injectors into the WSI /WSRD Billet Can Am X3 fuel rail. o Using the provided Red Loctite on the allen bolts. Tighten each injector safety plate down to the fuel rail.

• Use the provided fuel rail mounting allen headed bolts. Again, use at least Blue Loctite for a secure hold.
  

• There are a total of eight (8) runner to upper plenum bolts to be installed. o Again, use at least Blue Loctite on the threads.
  

• Double check that the throttle body o-ring is cleaned and free of any damage.

• Double check that your throttle body sealing surface is free of any debris.

• Use the provided allen headed throttle body   to intake plenum bolts. o Again, use at least Blue Loctite.

• Configure throttle body as shown, properly tighten down throttle body bolts.
  

• The WSI/WSRD Ghost intake manifold NEW silicone (Prototype pictured) version along side the powder coated aluminum version. Installation on both are essentially the same way.
  

• WSRD Aero motive Ghost Intake manifold bracket. Optional bracket for anyone doing WSRDreturn style fuel system.
  

  • Our bracket eliminates the OE Aero motive thin steel bracket and bolts directly to our bracket, as shown.
