Wikely Gas Connector Kit Instruction 1

  1. Bolt with female thread for cylinder.
  2. Pressure gauge for checking of the pressure of the LPG present in the cylinder with indicator of the quantity and detection of leaks and gas passage closure.
  3. Pressure regulator equipped with a filter to prevent the introduction of foreign bodies contained in the gas.
  4. Certified rubber hose.
  5. 1/2″ quick coupling certified for gas use. Female part integrated on the pressure regulator pipe and male part to be assembled on the gas ramp.
Assembly guide

STEP 1
Screw the gas regulator into the cylinder valve and, by hand, turn the bolt anticlockwise.
Use a size 25 wrench for perfect tightening and avoid damaging the valve gasket, thus compromising its seal.

STEP 2
Release the male part from the gas pipe by pulling back the knurling on the quick coupling.
Important: hold the other part with your hand as in the photo. Release could make it jump and fall to the ground, resulting in damage.

STEP 3
Connect the male part to the gas ramp, first by hand and then using a size 25 wrench. Check for the included gasket.

If leaks are detected, it is necessary to use Teflon to seal the connection.

STEP 4
Connect the hose using the quick coupling-release system, applying a slight force.

WARNING: improper installation, adjustment, alteration, service or maintenance can cause property damage, injury or death.
Read the installation, operating and maintenance instructions thoroughly before installing or servicing this equipment.

Safety warnings
  • LPG has a higher weight than air. Any LPG leaks could collect at the bottom, preventing its dispersion.

  • The LPG cylinder must always be installed, transported and stored in an upright position. Handle with care and do not drop LPG cylinders

  • Make sure the gas cylinder is placed in a well-ventilated place and away from other objects.

  • Never keep a spare gas cylinder near the gas oven.

  • Never leave or transport LPG cylinders in places where temperatures can reach 50°C (120°F) (too hot to handle.
For example: do not leave the cylinder in the car on very hot days).

  • Treat “empty” LPG cylinders with the same care as full ones. Even if there is no more liquid in the cylinder there could still be some pressurised gas left inside. Always close the cylinder valve before disconnecting it.

  • Make sure the LPG cylinder or regulator valve is closed. Replacement of the cylinder must be performed away from heat sources and with the oven off.

  • It is advisable to replace the gas pipe periodically, respecting the indicated deadline.

  • Use only LPG cylinders

  • Do not twist the hose

  • Before each use, check the hose for nicks, cracks, abrasions or cuts. If the hose is damaged in any way, do not use the oven.

  • It is advisable to make all the gas connections before using the oven.
