Device Overview
- Power ON/OFF
- Press and hold the ‘Power Button’ for 2 seconds.
- Once the power is ‘ON,’ your D1 will automatically start searching for GPS and recognize the golf course.
Prior to each use, please allow approximately two minutes to sync the
satellites.
Distance Guidance to the Green (Display)
When the golf course is recognized, the distance to the front, center, and
back of the green is automatically displayed on the screen.
- D1 measures the direct distance from wherever the player stands to the center/front/back of the green.
- The measurement does not account for external conditions including, but not limited to, weather, wind, and elevation.
Distance Guidance to the Green (Voice)
When the golf course is recognized, press the ‘Main Button’ to listen the voice guidance
- Distance to the Center of the Green Press the ‘Main Button’ once.
- Hole number (1-18). 000 yards/meters.”
- Distance to the Front and Back of the Green Press the ‘Main Button’ twice.
- Hole number (1-18), front 000 yards/meter, back 000 yards/meters.”
- Voice Guidance is still functional while the screen is closed.
Distance Guidance near the Green
D1 stops the distance guidance when you are less than 15 yards from the green.

► Measuring Shot Distance
Press the ‘Select Button’ at the starting point to begin the measurement -
Measuring the shot distance.”
Press the ‘Select Button’ again at the desired ending point to complete the measurement.
The shot distance is 000 yards. Hole number (1-18). 000 yards”
Other Features
- Press and hold the ‘Select Button’ for 2 seconds to enter Menu.
- Use the (Up Button)’ or (Down Button)’ to navigate through the menu, and press the ‘Select Button’ to select.
Menu Options
- Odometer: View time played, distance walked, and calories burned.
- Hole: Manually adjust hole number
- Units: Select units of measurement.
- Weight: Enter your weight.
- Demo Mode
- About: View the software version.
- Cancel: Go back to previous screen.
Shortcuts(key)
Select Units of Measurements (Yards/Meters) Press and hold the ‘T(Down
Button)’ for 2 seconds
Odometer
Press the ‘Select Button’ twice to view your odometer.

► Volume Control
Using the (Up Button)’ or (Down Button). adjust the volume to your desired level (1 to 7). -
► Display Light
Press and hold the (Up Button)’ for 2 seconds to turn on the display backlight.
Charging
Charging
Connect your D1 to a computer using the USB Cable provided or to a power
outlet using the Power Adapter (sold separately).
Key Indicators:
- Charging : Charging – Battery Full: Fully charged
- Charging time : Approximately 2 hours
- Battery life: Approximately 12 hours In the areas with poor satellite reception, the battery life may be reduced.

Download the VC Manager software from the
Golf Course Update page under Support menu. -
Connect your device to your computer/laptop using the USB Cable provided.

Start the VC Manager to update firmware, course information, or to change voice language options.

Warranty
- Terms and Conditions :
- Voice Caddie Warrants its product against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one year from the date of original retail purchase. If a defect exists, at its option Voice Caddie will: (1) repair the product at no charge; (2) exchange the product with a product that is new or like-new and is at least functionally equivalent to the original product or (3) refund the purchase price of the product. Voice Caddie shall have no obligation to repair, replace, or refund until the customer returns the defective product to Voice Caddie. This warranty does not apply: (1) to damage caused by accident. abuse, misuse, misapplication, or non-Voice Caddie products; (2) to damage caused by service performed by anyone who is not a Voice Caddie Authorized Service Provider; or (3) to a product or part that has been modified without the written permission of Voice Caddie.
- Warranty Procedures:
- Email us at rma@voicecaddie.com to receive a return merchandise authorization (RMA) number prior to returning any merchandise. A copy of the original purchase receipt is required to verify the date of purchase. If a return is approved, please send the unit along with a copy of the original purchase receipt and the RMA number marked clearly on the outside of the package. Shipping fees accrued for returns are responsibility of the sender.
