Download the IKEA Home smart app and follow the on-screen instructions to add the product to your IKEA Home smart system.
Pairing Light Sources
- Ensure the light source is installed and the main power switch is on.
- Hold the remote control close to the light source (<5 cm away).
- Press the pairing button 4 times within 5 seconds.
- A red light will shine on the remote control, indicating successful pairing.
Factory Reset
- For light sources: Toggle the main switch 6 times.
- For remote control: Press the pairing button 4 times within 5 seconds.
Synchronizing
If unsynchronized, long press the left button to return the light source to its default setting (2700K).
Changing the Battery
When the red LED indicator flashes, replace the battery with two new AAA/HR03 batteries.
Care Instructions
Wipe the remote control with a soft cloth moistened with mild detergent, then wipe dry with another soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or chemical solvents.
Recommended Battery Types
Use 2 x IKEA LADDA 900 (AAA/HR03, 1.2V, 900mAh, Ni-MH) batteries. Do not mix different types or capacities.

Remote control functions
- Short press to turn it on. To dim up, press and hold the button.
- Short press to turn it off. To dim down, press and hold the button.
- Change the white spectrum or colors.

Adding devices to your remote control
- When the remote control is sold together with a light source (in the same package), they are already paired.
- If the remote control is purchased separately, you must manually pair it to your light source.
- To add light sources, just repeat the steps below.
- Make sure that your light source is installed and the main power switch is turned on.
- Hold the remote control close to the light source you want to add (no more than 5 cm away).
- Press the pairing button 4 times within 5 seconds. A red light will shine steadily on the remote control. Your light source will begin to dim and flash one time to indicate that it has been successfully paired.
- Up to 10 light sources can be paired with 1 remote control. Make sure to pair them one at a time.
- If the light sources are close to each other, disconnect those that have already been paired from the main power switch.

For remote control:
- Press the pairing button 4 times within 5 seconds.
Synchronizing
- If your light source becomes unsynchronized, a long press on the left (<) or right (>) buttons will return the light source to its default setting (2700K).
Changing the battery
- When the remote control is used regularly and as intended, the batteries will last for approximately 2 years.
- When it’s time to replace the battery, a red LED indicator will flash when you press any button on the remote control.
- Open the battery lid and replace the battery with two new AAA/HR03 batteries.
Caution!
- Risk of explosion if the battery is replaced by an incorrect type. Dispose of used batteries according to the instructions.
Important!
- The remote control is for indoor use only and can be used in temperatures ranging from 0ºC to 40 ºC (32ºF to 104ºF).
- Do not leave the remote control in direct sunlight or near any heat source, as it may overheat.
- The range between the remote control and the receiver is measured in the open air.
- Different building materials and placement of the units can affect the wireless connectivity range.
Care instructions
