Product Usage Instructions

  1. Connect your Internet cable to port 1, and local network devices to other ports.
  2. Set your computer IP configuration to automatic (DHCP).
  3. If not using POE, connect your direct input power jack to start up the device.
  4. After a short beep, the wireless network will be available for connecting.
  5. Open network connections on your device and search for MikroTik wireless network, then connect to it.
  6. Open https://192.168.88.1 in your web browser to start configuration (no password by default).
  7. Check for updates and update your RouterOS software to the latest version for best performance.
  8. Choose your country and set up your password on the screen that loads.

Safety Information:

First steps:

  • Connect your Internet cable to port 1, and local network devices to other ports.
  • Set your computer IP configuration to automatic (DHCP).

  • The device will boot up and after a short beep Wireless network will be available for connecting.
  • Open network connections on your PC, mobile phone, or other device and search for MikroTik wireless network, and connect to it.
  • Once connected to the wireless network, open https://192.168.88.1 in your web browser to start configuration, since there is no password by default, you will be logged in automatically (or, for some models, check user and wireless passwords on the sticker).
  • We recommend clicking the “Check for updates” button and updating your RouterOS software to the latest version to ensure the best performance and stability.
  • Choose your country, to apply country regulation settings, and set up your password on the screen that loads.
