SUNCO LIGHTING PRE-25519 LED Tone Select CFL Plug and Go
This guide provides important installation and safety information. Please read
all information before installing the lamp(s) and keep this sheet for future
reference.
DANGER – Risk of Shock: Disconnect power before installation.
CAUTION – Risk of Fire: Use only in place of fluorescent lamps specified
on the label.
CAUTION – Risk of Fire: If the lamp or luminaire exhibits undesirable
operation (buzzing, flickering, etc.), immediately turn off power, remove the
lamp from the luminaire, and contact the manufacturer.
CAUTION – Risk of Fire: Do not install this lamp in a preheat luminaire.
These lamps only operate on electronic ballasts. If the lamp does not light
when the luminaire is energized, remove it from the luminaire and contact the
lamp manufacturer or qualified electrician. Any modifications to this product
will void the warranty.
- Direct replacment for 13W/18W/26W/32W/42W G24q/GX24q CFL lamps only.
- Operates on electronic ballasts only.
- Suitable for damp locations.
- Suitable for use in totally enclosed recessed fixtures.
- This device is not intended for use with emergency exits or for emergency lighting.
- To adjust CCT settings: Use the slide switch on the lamp to set different color temperatures: 3000K / 3500K / 4000K
INSTALLATION
- Check all the items of the retrofit kit.
- Check if the LED lamp rating parameters correlate with this luminaire.
- Make sure the circuit breaker that supplies power to the fixture is turned off.
- Remove the diffuser, lens cover, or louver (if provided) and the existing fluorescent lamp(s) from the fixture.
- Check if the ballast installed in the fixture is listed in the ballast compatibility chart. If not, do not make this retrofit.
- Ballast compatibilty chart can be found on: www.pqlighting.com by looking up the item number.
- Install the new LED lamp(s) into the lamp holder. Gently rotate the lamps into the desired position.
- Make sure that the pins are completely seated in the lamp holder.
- Replace the diffuser, lens cover, or louver (if removed in step 4). Turn the power back on at the breaker box and turn on the lights.
