Product Usage Instructions

The objective of the Game:
Collect 6 Picnic Food Tokens, one from each colour of the rainbow, to win the game.

Game Rules:

1. The youngest player starts the game, and the play proceeds to the left.
2. Draw a Card from the deck:
   • If it’s a colour Card, use the Caterpillar Squeezer to pick a matching Picnic Food Token from the Game Board.
   • If it’s an action Card, follow the instructions on the Card.
3. Action Cards include:
   • Cloudy Day – Lose a Turn
   • All Play – All players trade a food item with the player to their right
   • Heart – Take your favorite food item from the Game Board
   • The Very Hungry Caterpillar – Take 1 Picnic Food Token from a player of your choice
   • Rainbow – All players trade their Rainbow Collection Card with the player to their left

Additional Rules:

• If the deck runs out of Cards before a player wins, reshuffle and start over.
• If a player draws an All-Play, The Very Hungry Caterpillar, or Rainbow card on the first turn, they can draw a second Card from the Deck.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ):

• Q: What happens if two players draw an action Card simultaneously?
  A: If multiple players draw an action Card at the same time, resolve the actions in clockwise order starting from the player who drew first.

• Q: Can a player hold more than one Picnic Food Token of the same colour?
  A: No, each player can only hold one Picnic Food Token of each colour. If a player already has a specific colour, they must choose a different one when drawing a Card of that colour.

Game set up

If this is your first time playing the game, place the 24 Picnic Food Tokens into their coordinating Plastic Colored Bases (ie. Yellow Corn goes into a Yellow Plastic Base). Then place the Picnic Food Tokens onto the Game Board and place the Game Board in the middle of the playing area. Make sure to mix up the placement of the Picnic Food Tokens on the Game Board, don’t put all the same colors together. Each player should also be given a Diecut Rainbow Collection Card that they place in front of them. Lastly, shuffle the deck of playing Cards and place them near the Game Board.

The object of the Game

Collect 6 Picnic Food Tokens and win the Game. You need to collect 1 Picnic Food Item from each colour of the rainbow!

Rules:

• The youngest player will go first, and play continues to the left. The first player draws a Card from the deck.
• Players will use the Very Hungry Caterpillar Squeezer to pick their Picnic Food Token from the Game Board.

1. If you draw a colour Card, you select a Picnic Food Token from the Game Board in that colour (ex. Card is red and you can choose a red food from the Game Board) using the Caterpillar Squeezers to select the Picnic Food Token and place it on your Collection Rainbow Card. If you already have this colour, then the next player draws a Card from the deck.
2. If you draw an action Card, then follow the instructions on the Card. There are five different action Cards:
   • Cloudy Day- Lose a Turn
   • All Play- All players trade a food item with the player to their right
   • Heart- Take your favorite food item from the Game Board
   • The Very Hungry Caterpillar-Take 1 Picnic Food Token from a player of your choice
   • Rainbow-All players trade their Rainbow Collection Card with the player to their left

• If you run out of Cards before a player wins the game then you can just reshuffle the deck and start over.
