Pro Tip: A brewing bucket can be used for this step.

FAQ

Q: Do I need to purchase PBW separately for cleaning?
A: Yes, PBW (Powdered Brewery Wash) needs to be purchased separately for cleaning purposes as mentioned in the instructions.

KIT INCLUDES

CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS

Once you have hooked up your first two lines according to the instructions in the base kit you can now move to these instructions to “daisy chain” two more lines to the kit and extend your base kit and clean all of your lines at once.

  • STEP 1
Attach the liquid line of your third tap to the free end of the ball lock jumper currently attached to your second tap line. (This is the line that would have drained into the bucket if you did not have the Fine Line Extension Pack).

  • STEP 2
Remove the next two of your tap faucets. Then soak them in a solution of PBW (sold separately) to remove any build up inside or on them.

  • STEP 3
Attach the Tap Cleaning Jumper to the next two open shanks by inserting the Jumper into the threaded end and tightening the shank. This jumper allows the cleaning solution to flow out of one shank and into the other.

  • STEP 4
Attach the Ball-Lock Jumper to the end of your fourth tap line just as you did with lines two and three. If the lock does not automatically click into place, pull the lock down manually. This jumper will hold the Ball-Lock Disconnect open so that the BLC can flow through during cleaning.

  • STEP 5
Put this Ball-Lock Disconnect with the Jumper into an empty bucket (sold separately) of at least 2 gallons capacity, in order to collect the cleaning solution.

PRO TIP:
A brewing bucket works great for this.

Now start at step 7 of the base kit instructions to clean the rest of your lines.
