H TRONIC H-RCL200 Water Sensor

The water sensor is suitable for combination with H-TRONIC Water Level Switch WPS 1000 (item No. 1 144 20) for automatically controlling the level of conductive liquids in containers, wells, cellar rooms, etc. The metal sensors are encapsulated in a plastic housing. This measuring sensor with a 10 m PVC connexion cable is exclusively suitable for detecting liquids in nonaggressive media.

Technical specifications

  • Layout: sensor encapsulated in plastic (for conductive liquids)
  • Connexion: approx. 10 m PVC cable with 2.5 mm phone jack

MOUNTING THE SENSOR

Mount the sensor to the spot that you wish to be controlled. Plug the phone jack of the water sensor part into the jack of the front side of the device. The sensor is triggered by contact between the two metal contacts and water (sensor circuit closed). The height of the spot at which the sensor is mounted determines the time of reaction of the sensor. A large number of external sensors can be connected to the sensor inlet of your WPS 1000 device, e.g., float switches, level switches, magnetic contacts, alarm shut-off mats, etc. Important! The connection cable of your water sensor or the sensors need to be installed firmly to avoid tripping hazards. hazard. As a basic principle, the water sensor is only put into operation corresponding to the user’s manual enclosed to the device (water level switch).
