Product Usage Instructions
Setting Up the Printer:
- Take all the print supplies out of the box and locate the print ribbon.
- Open the top of the printer by pressing the small square button.
- Remove the print ribbon from the plastic packaging and align the two spools with either side of the ribbon cartridge.
- Ensure the ribbon is seated correctly to avoid a blinking red light error.
- Make sure to use the correct ribbon type (EZ659592) to prevent errors.
- Plug the printer into the provided power supply to avoid any power-related issues.
Driver Installation:
- Download Driver Files from the Easy Badges website.
- Extract the Zip files before running DDInstall.exe.
- Connect the printer to the computer via USB when prompted.
After Driver Installation:
- Download the latest version of CardholdirID software from the Easy Badges website.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to install CardholdirID ID Design Software.
- Input your activation code found on the backside of the Cardholder ID card inside the software box when prompted.

Take all the print supplies out of the box and locate the print ribbon. Open
the top of the printer by pressing the small square button. Take the print
ribbon out of the plastic packaging, and align the two spools with either side
of the ribbon cartridge.
Make sure the ribbon is seated like the image below. It’s very easy to
incorrectly seat the ribbon in reverse, causing the printer to display a
blinking red light.
The correct ribbon type should be used for the printer (EZ659592). An
incorrect ribbon type may still fit in the ribbon cartridge, but the printer
may display a blinking red light error.
Ensure the printer is plugged into the power supply that came with the unit.
Using the incorrect power supply can cause insufficient power to be sent to
the unit. In some circumstances, the board of the printer can break with use
of the incorrect power supply.
Do NOT connect the USB until promoted to.
DRIVER INSTALLATION
- Download Driver Files from Easy Badges (https://easybadges.com/cardholdir-id-solid-210-printer-driver/)
- Extract the Zip files from the download. The DDInstall.exe file won’t work properly without extracting it first. Run DDInstall.exe
- Plug the printer into the computer with USB when it prompts you to do so.
AFTER DRIVER INSTALLATION
- Download the most recent version of CardholdirID from easybadges.com (https://easybadges.com/product/cardholdir-idsoftware/)
- Follow the onscreen instructions to install CardholdirID ID Design Software
- Input your activation code when prompted by CardholdirID, you’ll find this printed on the backside of the Cardholdir ID card inside the blue software box.
