Product Usage Instructions
Getting Started:
To set up your keyboard for the first time:
- Connect the keyboard to a PC using the bundled cable.
- Switch the connection mode to Bluetooth.
- Download and install the Armoury Crate software from https://rog.asus.com.
- Follow the software instructions to update the keyboard’s firmware.
- Customize your keyboard settings using Armoury Crate.
Pairing Bluetooth Mode:
To pair your keyboard with additional host devices:
- Set the connection switch to Bluetooth mode.
- Press and hold Fn + J for 3 seconds until the RGB indicator blinks blue on the keyboard.
Setting up as a Wireless Keyboard:
Once paired via Bluetooth, follow these steps:
- Remove the Omni receiver from the keyboard.
- Insert the Omni receiver into a USB port on your PC.
- Set the connection switch on the keyboard to RF 2.4GHz.

Getting started
- Connect your keyboard to a PC with the bundled Type-C® cable.
- Download and install the Armoury Crate software from https://rog.asus.com
- Follow the software instructions to update your keyboard’s firmware.
- Customize your keyboard using Armoury Crate.
Setting up as a wireless keyboard
- Remove the Omni receiver from the keyboard and insert the Omni receiver to a USB port on the PC.
- Set the connection switch on the keyboard to RF 2.4GHz.
Setting up Bluetooth for the first time
Set the connection switch to Bluetooth mode.
Pairing Bluetooth mode to additional host devices
- Set the connection switch to Bluetooth mode. Press and hold the Fn + J for 3 seconds until the RGB indicator on your gaming keyboard starts to blink blue.
- Once your gaming keyboard has been successfully paired, the RGB indicator on your gaming keyboard will light up blue for 3 seconds.

- Step 1: Fn + Left-ALT to start recording
- Step 2: Enter the keys to be recorded as a macro Step 3: Fn + Left-ALT to end recording

Battery status
The battery status can be checked at any time by pressing and holding FN +’. When the battery status is below 20% the keys will light up red.
Slider bar and Switch function button
Press the Switch function button to rotate between modes. You can then use the
slider bar to adjust the settings for each function.

Toggling between PC and Mac mode
Toggle the PC/Mac mode toggle to switch between PC and Mac mode. Please see
below for the differences in keys between the modes.
