Camera Structure

Insert Micro SD Card

Bird Care Cam comes with a built-in card slot which supports up to 128GB Micro SD card.

Step 1 : Rotate the camera down to the bottom.
Step 2 : Open the top silicone plug. Insert the Micro SD card. Make sure to plug it in the right direction.
Step 3 : Finally, Cover silicone plug.

How To Turn On & Off The Camera

To turn on the camera:

Long press the power button for 5s to turn on the camera. The Status Light in the front of the camera will be solid blue. Then click the power button twice continuously to reset the device, and pairing can be performed after a continuous prompt sound appears.

To turn off the camera:

Long press the power button for 3s to turn off the camera. Then the Status Light in the front of the camera will be off.

Installation  Method

1. Insert the camera to the brackets in the birdcage.
   

2. Pass the 2 straps through the installation seam of the bracket wrap around the trunk and pinch the buckle at the other end of the strap with your hand .Make the buckle open put the strap into the buckle and adjust the position of the bracket. Pull the strap tightly to ensure that the bracket is close to the trunk and then press the buckle make sure the strap will not loosen.
   

3. Put the bird feeder on the bracket and make sure the mounting holes at the bottom of the bird feeder are aligned with the screw holes of the bracket then adjust the proper position and fix it with screws.

Download and install the App

The wireless smart battery camera supports Android and iOS App. For your best experience, please scan the QR code below, and follow the instruction to complete the user registration.

Add the device

Sign in to App connect to Wi-Fi and add the device according to the prompts (please bring the device close to the router when configuring).

Power on/off And Network Configuration

• Long press the power button for s to power on/off the device.
• Double click the power button to enter the network configuration mode after the prompt tone.

! When connecting the camera for the first time, use the App and follow the instruction to configure the camera network.

Set Up The Camera

1. Click the “Add Camera Now” in the App and enter the Wi-Fi network name and password that you want the camera to connect. To ensure a longer distance connection, the camera only supports the 2.4Ghz Wi-Fi with stronger wall penetration capability and does not support Wi-Fi for enterprise-level authentication currently. Please ensure that the entered Wi-Fi meets the requirements. After completion, click “continue” to generate the QR code for pairing the camera.
   

2. After pressing the camera switch for 3 seconds, the camera will turn on. At this moment, target the camera at the QR code of the mobile App, with a distance of about 20cm (about 7 inches) until the camera emits a “Di” sound, which represents the scanning is succeeded and the pairing is started.
   

3. After a while, the camera will give out a prompt sound of a successful connection. At this moment, please set the name for the device on the App and select the location you want to place the device. Click “continue” to complete the pairing.
   

For the first purchase, you can get a 30-day trial of the bird recognition function for free (each account can only get one time)

Proceed as follows:

1. After logging in to the account and connecting the device, click “Vico home Lite” to enter the claim page to receive a 30-day free trial.
   

2. Return to the homepage and click “Vicohome Lite” again to select “Bird Fans Plan” to get for free.
   

3. Click the setting button on your bird feeder device, click “Notification Setting”, check the “Notification” function under Bird Fans, and the bird feeder can be used normally.
   
   

Share The Camera

When you need to view the camera with other family members or friends, you can use this function. Only the administrator whose account is bound with the camera for the first time can share and set the device. Other members can only view the live or playbacks of the device.

1. Find the camera you want to share on the App homepage or camera setting page. Find the button and enter the sharing page.
   

2. Click “Invite”, and a QR code will be generated for sharing.

3. For the members you need to share, find “Add Friend’s Camera” in the “User” page to enter the scanning page.
   

4. Scan the QR code on your mobile phone, and you will receive the confirmation notification after success. The sharing will be completed after you agree.

Charge The Camera

App will remind you to charge your camera when the battery is low.
Please use the Micro USB cable to plug into the 5V/1.5A charging adapter to charge the camera. During charging, the camera’s indicator light is solid yellow, and when the camera is fully charged, the indicator light will turn into solid green. It will take 10 hours to fully charge the camera.
