Product Usage Instructions
Monitoring Function
LCD Off/Confirm button: Press the button on the main interface for 3 seconds to turn off the display light. Data collection is not affected, and the display can be reactivated by pressing any button.
Product Installation
- Remove the probe protective cap counterclockwise before use.
- If the original line is short, connect the extension line to the original line.
- Attach the display using suction cups, magnetic sticker, and metal plate.
- Connect the display and probe before powering on.
Calibration and Bias Correction
Note: The product is pre-calibrated but should be recalibrated every 6 months. If the probe is dirty, soak it in a diluted disinfectant before calibration.
Two-point pH Calibration
- Enter the setting interface and select pH-CAL-2.
- Calibrate with 4.01 solution, then with 6.86 solution.
- Wipe off remaining liquid on the probe.
Three-point pH Calibration (recommended)
- Enter the setting interface and select pH-CAL-3.
- Calibrate with 4.01 solution, then with 6.86 solution, and finally with neutral water.
- Dry the probe after calibration.
Overview
The Kactoily 6-in-1 Aquarium Water Quality Monitor has a modular design, so users can change the probe when needed. Its power supply plug is powered by 5V1A and a USB (type C) connection.
The application example is as follow:
Monitoring Function
LCD Off/Confirm button: Press this button on the main interface for 3 seconds and release it to turn off the display light. There will be no impact on data collection after the screen is turned off. The display can be reopened by pressing any button.
Measuring Range
Product Installation
Please remove the probe protective cap counterclockwise before use, and attach
the protective cap if not in use for a long time.
Simply connect the extension line to the original line and attach it to the
display if the original line is not long enough.
The total length of the connecting line is about 50 cm after using the extension line.
- Stick the two suction cups in the slots
- Attach the magnetic sticker to the back of the screen
- Attach the metal plate to the outside of the aquarium where you want to fix the display
Note: please connect the display and probe before powering on.
Product Size
Please remove the probe protective cap before use and attach the protective cap if not in use for a long time.
Calibration and Bias Correction (Compensation)
Note: The product has been calibrated before delivery, and can be used
directly upon receipt. It is recommended to calibrate once every 6 months.
If the probe is dirty or has a lot of algae on it after a period of use,
please soak it overnight with a certain proportion of diluted disinfectant
before calibrating.
Enter the setting interface by pressing the middle button, and click the left
button to access the first option “pH-set”. Continue to click the left button
to the first option “pH-CAL-2”, and the device will enter the third interface
(4.01 calibration interface)
Putting the probe into the calibration solution 4.01, the measured value
indicates the current device value.
Then, shake a few times and allow the solution to fully contact the probe for
180 seconds, then press the left button to confirm.
Put the probe in neutral water or pure water once it jumps to the fourth
interface (6.86 calibration interface), then take it out and wipe the
remaining liquid off.
Put the probe into ph6.86 calibration solution and let it stand for 180
seconds (solution and probe are fully in contact). Press the left button to
confirm, then remove the probe from the solution and place it in neutral water
or pure water. Then dry the remaining liquid on the probe.

button to access the first option “pH-set”. Continue to click the middle
button to the second option “pH-CAL-3”, and then click the left button to
confirm, the device will enter the third interface (4.01 calibration
interface).

the fifth interface (9.18 calibration interface). Then take it out and wipe
the remaining liquid off.
Next, put the probe into ph9.18 calibration solution and let it stand for 180
seconds (solution and probe are fully in contact). Press the left button to
confirm, then put the probe in neutral water or pure water once the progress
is finished. Then take it out and wipe the remaining liquid off.
Bias correction can be done directly on the monitor if it shows a difference
from other pH testing products while other pH testing results are accurate
during comparative use.
Enter the setting interface by pressing the middle button, and click the left
button to access the first option “pH-set”. Continue to click the middle
button to the option “PH-Adj”, and then click the left button to confirm.
Thus, the device will enter the third interface (4.01 calibration interface),
and the compensation value is 0 by default.
The measured value represents the value displayed by the device in the test
solution. You can directly press the left or right button “-/ +” to adjust it,
and then press the middle button “OK” to save it.
Enter the setting interface by pressing the middle button, and click the
middle button to the second option “EC-set” to access the second interface.
Continue to click the middle button to the second option“EC-CAL”, and then
click the left button to confirm, the device will enter the third interface
(1413us/cm calibration interface).
Putting the probe into the calibration solution 1413us/cm, the measured value
indicates the current device value.
Then, shake a few times and allow the solution to fully contact the probe for
180 seconds, then press the left button to confirm.
Put the probe in neutral water or pure water once it jumps to the fourth
interface (12.88ms/cm calibration interface), then take it out and wipe the
remaining liquid off.
Put the probe into 12.88ms/cm calibration solution and let it stand for 180
seconds (solution and probe are fully in contact). Press the left button to
confirm, then put the probe in neutral water or pure water once it jumps to
the fifth interface (111.3ms/cm calibration interface). Then take it out and
wipe the remaining liquid off.Next, put the probe into 111.3ms/cm calibration
solution and let it stand for 180 seconds
(solution and probe are fully in contact). Press the left button to confirm,
then put the probe in neutral water or pure water once the progress is
finished. Then take it out and wipe the remaining liquid off.
Press the middle button of the monitor to enter the setting interface, click
the middle button to the second option “EC-set”, left click to confirm to
enter the second interface. Click the middle button to the second option “EC-
Adj”, and then click the left button to confirm.
The measured value represents the value displayed by the device in the test
solution. You can directly press left or right “-/ +” to adjust it, and then
press the middle button “OK” to save it.
Press the middle button on the monitor to enter the setting interface. Click the middle button to the third option “Temp-set” and click the left button to confirm it. Afterward, press the left button to switch temperature units. You’re then able to choose the suitable unit with the middle button and click the left button to confirm your choice.
Press the middle button on the monitor to enter the setting interface. Click
the middle button to the third option “Temp-set” and click the left button to
confirm it. Afterward, press the middle button to the “Com” option, and click
the middle button to confirm your choice after the adjustment by pressing the
left or right button “-/ +”.
The compensation value is 0 by default, and the measured value represents the
current value of the device displayed in the test solution.
Press the middle button to enter the setting interface. And click the middle
button to the forth option “Reset”, and click the left button to confirm your
choice.
Note: The device can be restored to factory defaults if the sensor has been
replaced or if the data display is abnormal. In this case, the calibration
data will be deleted. This operation should therefore be performed with
caution.
After-sales Service
This product is guaranteed for one year. During the warranty period, if the
product is damaged due to its own reasons, it will be repaired or replaced
free of charge.
The following circumstances are not covered by the warranty:
- Damage caused by irresistible natural disasters;
- Damage caused by improper handling, use, maintenance and storage of consumers (including consumer disassembly and repair);
- It shows that the water in some parts of the host is seriously causing corrosion of the circuit board or the power supply interface.
Note: The display is not waterproof, please pay more attention to it in daily use.
