KMC CONTROLS MEP-7000 Series Actuators Crank Arm Kit
Specifications
- Product: Crank Arm Kit for MEP-7000 Series Actuators
- Model: HLO-1020
Product Usage Instructions
Mounting
- From the MEP-7xxx actuator, remove and discard the V-bolt.
- Assemble and install the kit and actuator as shown in the diagram below.
NOTE: Position both the ball joints as close to the end of the crank arms as feasible for the application. Placing a ball joint in the slot nearer to the shaft will alter torque, rotation speed, and/or angle of rotation.
NOTE: Check for potential issues such as binding of the linkage or damage caused by the actuator still rotating when the damper is closed.
Maintenance
Under normal conditions, no routine maintenance is required. In harsh environments, periodic lubrication of the ball joints may be necessary for long-term reliability and performance. Careful installation is key to ensuring product longevity.
