Product Usage Instructions
Pairing a Steering Device to Your Smart Plug
- Ensure the smart plug is plugged in and the main power is turned on.
- Hold the steering device close to the smart plug (within 5 cm).
- Press and hold the pairing button on the steering device for at least 10 seconds.
- A red LED will shine on the steering device, and a white light will flash on the smart plug to indicate successful pairing.

Download the IKEA Home smart app and follow on-screen instructions to add the
smart plug to your system.
Turning On/Off Smart Plug
To turn on, press the On button. Press the Off button to turn off.
Factory Resetting Smart Plug
Press the reset button on top of the smart plug with a pointy object for at
least 5 seconds until the LED starts pulsating.
Changing the Battery
If the red LED blinks when pressing any button, replace the AAA/HR03 battery.
Use a LADDA rechargeable battery for best results.
Care Instructions
Clean with a soft cloth dampened with mild detergent, then wipe dry with
another soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or chemical solvents.

Pairing
Pairing a steering device to your smart plug
When the smart plug is sold together with a remote (in the same package), they
are already paired. To add more smart plugs, just repeat the steps below:
- Make sure that your smart plug is plugged in and the main power is turned on.
- Hold the steering device close to the smart plug you want to add (no more than 5 cm away).
- Press and hold the pairing button for at least 10 seconds. A red LED will steadily shine on the steering device. On your smart plug a white light will begin to dim and flash one time to indicate that it has been successfully paired.

Download the IKEA Home smart app and follow the instructions on screen to add
the smart plug to your IKEA Home smart system.

the app using Google Play store.
Good to know
Without DIRIGERA, you can connect a maximum of 10 smart products to one
dimmer/switch. Remember to add one product at a time. If your products are
close together, disconnect the ones you have already connected while adding
the next product.
Get to know your TRETAKT product
- Press the On/Off button on the smart plug once to turn it on. Press it once again to turn it off.
- When using a remote: Press the On button (|) to turn the smart plug on. Press the Off button (o) to turn the smart plug off.

IMPORTANT!
- The Smart plug is for indoor use only and can be used in temperatures from 0ºC to 35ºC.
- Do not leave the Smart plug in direct sunlight or near any heat source, as it may overheat.
- Do not subject the Smart plug to wet, moist or excessively dusty environments as this may cause damage.
- The range between the steering device and the receiver are measured in open air. Different building materials and placement of the units can affect the wireless connectivity range.

- Do not connect after each other in sequence.
- Do not cover when in use.
- To disconnect the power, pull the plug.
- Use only indoors in dry areas.
- Do not overload the product.
- Discard the product if damaged.

Do not attempt to repair this product yourself, as opening or removing covers

- Pairing button.
- Press to turn on, or long-press to increase brightness.
- Press to turn off, or long-press to decrease brightness.
Changing the battery
A red LED light will blink when you press any button the dimmer/power switch to show that a new battery is needed. Open the battery lid and replace with a new AAA/ HR03 battery. We recommend using a LADDA rechargeable battery. Please note it is sold separately.
