Operating instructions
Powering On/Off & Charging
- Powering On: press and hold the “POWER” button for about 3 seconds to power on, The blue LED light flashes.
- Powering OFF: Press and hold the “POWER” button for about 3 seconds to turn off, The red LED light is off.
- When charging The red LED is always on, it will take 3 hours to be fully charged, and the red LED light turns blue.
Pair between 2 Wayxin R9 intercoms
- Powering on 2 intercoms(standby mode).
- Device 1 long presses the A button to enter the red and blue lights to flash quickly (pairing mode).
- Device 2 long press the B button to enter the blue light to flash quickly(search mode).
- After waiting a few seconds, the 2 devices are paired successfully and the blue light flashes at the same time(paired).
- Press the pairing button (button A of device 1 or button B of device 2) again to enter the intercom mode, and the red and blue lights flash at the same time(intercom mode).
(Only A and B can be used for pairing, A and A, or B and B cannot be used)
Pair with Mobile phone/MP3/GPS
- Press and hold the “POWER” button for about 5 seconds until the blue and red lights flash.
- Activate the Bluetooth settings of the Mobile phone/MP3/GPS, search for nearby Bluetooth devices, and select “WAYXIN R9” to connect until the connection is successful.
Connect With Other Band Intercom (intercom X)
R9 active pairing intercom X
- Powering on the intercom x and enter paring mode(refer to the manual of intercom x),
- Powering on the R9, press and hold the button B to enter search mode, after a few seconds, the 2 intercoms will be automatically paired successfully.
- Press button B again to enter the intercom mode.
R9 passive pairing intercom X
If intercom X supports universal pairing, at first power on the R9 intercom, press and hold Button A to enter pairing mode. And then refer to the manual of intercom x to active pair the R9.
The wayxin R9 intercom can be paired with the intercom and the mobile phone/MP3/GPS at the same time, you need to do something
- Pairing with the mobile phone/MP3/GPS
- Turn off the Bluetooth setting of the mobile phone/MP3/GPS
- Follow the previous steps to pair the intercom
- After the intercom device is completed, activate the Bluetooth settings of the Mobile phone/MP3/GPS,
- Select “WAYXIN R9” to connect.

Function And Control
FM radio
- Press and hold the FM button (top button) to enter the FM radio function.
- Short press the FM button to adjust the channel
- Press and hold the FM button to disable the FM radio function.
Start Siri & Bixby
Press and hold the power button for 2seconds to activate the voice assistant function of the phone.
Remaining Battery Reminder
Touch the volume down button twice, it will inform you the remaining battery charge
Restore Factory Settings
In the Powering on state, press and hold button A and button B at the same time for about 3 seconds,when the red and blue lights are on at the same time, the device returns to its original settings.
Installation
Maintenance & Care
- Do not use or store the device in dusty, dirty areas. Its moving parts and electronic components can be damaged.
- Do not store the device in hot areas. High temperatures can shorten the life of electronic devices, damage batteries, and wrap or melt certain plastics.
- Do not store the device in cold areas. When the device returns to its normal temperature, moisture can form inside the device and damage electronic circuit boards.
- Do not attempt to open the WX-R9.
- Do not drop or knock the device. Rough handling can break internal circuit boards and fine mechanics.
- Do not use harsh chemicals, cleaning solvents, or strong detergents to clean the device.
- Do not paint the device. Paint can clog the moving parts and prevent proper operation. These suggestions apply equally to the headset main unit and speaker-microphone clamp Unit.
Disposal
The crossed-out wheel bin symbol on the product literature or packaging reminds you that all electrical and electronic products, batteries, and accumulators must be taken to separate collection at the end of their working life.
