INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR LED GIMBAL DOWNLIGHT
Cut-out hole dimensions
Round 3 Inch: q,2 3/4″ (70mm) to 2 7/8″ (73mm)

CAUTION: Turn off power at fuse or circuit breaker box before installation and maintenance. Fixture must be installed according to Local Electric Code and Local Building Code. Installation must be handled by a qualified licensed electrician understanding all electrical require ments involved.
WARNING: Avoid fire or electrical shock: ALWAYS disconnect/terminate power to a fixture prior to installation or replacement. Failure to do so may result in shock and/or serious injury. The operating voltage of this product is 110-120V. An installer must verify the operating voltage of the fixture prior to installation.
Do not expose directly to water, it is not waterproof. Only suitable for dry
and damp locations.
Do not connect the gimbal module/downlight to any other driver except the one
packed together.
Do not connect multiple gimbal modules to one driver and don’t disassemble the
gimbal module.
FEATURES
- LED Driver and gimbal module/downlight are both IC-rated – approved for direct contact with insulation.
- ETL approved, CONFORMS TO UL STD. 1598. CERTIFIED TO CSA STD. C22.2 No. 250.0.
- Driver Input Voltage: 120VAC (Dimmable), Output Voltage : 36VDC.
- Operating Temperature: -40° F to + 104°F/-40 C to +40C.
- Dimming Function: Compatible with Triac Base Dimmers.
INSTALLATION STEPS
Step 1: Turn off power before starting installtion, and locate a suitable
position to place the fixture
Step 2: Twist and lock the required 3″ or 4″ trim onto the module. (fig.1)
(Skip this step if the package come with a trim installed already)
Step 3: Select the color temperature required using the toggle switch. Toggle
it to the middle, it’s 5000K; Toggle it to the rightmost, it’s 4000K. The
default setting is 3000K. (fig.2) (Skip this step if the package come with a
fixed CCT gimbal downlight)
Step 4: Cut hole on ceiling based on the cutout size. (fig.3) (Cut out Hole
Size: 2 3/4″ (70mm) to 2 7/8 (73mm))
Step 5: Open the cover of the junction box, then push and remove one of the
half-inch knockouts on the side. (fig.4)
Step 6: Install standard L16 cable connector. Insert same color wires to the
corresponding push-in connectors that are on the driver’s “L” N” “E” wires.
Then close the junction box cover. (fig.5)
Step 7: Connect the driver to the LED gimbal downlight by tightening the male
and female connector with hand. (fig.6)
Step 8: Locate the junction box beside the gimbal downlight above the ceiling.

Step 9: Snap the gimbal downlight in the opening hole with spring clips.
