Acknowledgment of Risk: Your acceptance of risk. Your utilization of this Product is entirely at your own risk. Presenting information on the Product while operating a vehicle could potentially divert the attention of certain drivers. If you feel that this Product diverts your focus away from the road ahead, cease using it promptly.

Adherence to Traffic Regulations: It is imperative that you consistently dedicate your full attention to road safety and adhere to all traffic laws and regulations. Please be aware that the data presented on the Product may not be entirely accurate, up-to-date, or comprehensive.

Caution: In the unfortunate event of an accident, the impact experienced by your vehicle could potentially result in your smartphone forcibly moving and making contact with either your person or the occupants of your vehicle, potentially leading to personal injuries for you or your passengers. Please take note that the Product’s cradle may not provide adequate restraint to prevent your smartphone from sliding or shifting during such an incident.

Users must respect and adhere to the intellectual property rights associated with the App.

• Handle plastic parts with care: When disassembling plastic parts of the car’s interior, use the provided plastic tool or suitable prying tools. Take care not to scratch or damage the plastic surfaces. Apply gentle and even pressure to avoid breakage.

Kit Components

Here’s a concise description of the components included in the Teslogic Wireless Transmitter Kit for Tesla Cars:

Wireless Transmitter Device:
The central unit that wirelessly connects to your Tesla’s data system, providing real-time data to your mobile app.

Connection Wiring:
High-quality wiring for secure and efficient communication between the transmitter and your car’s data system.

Magnet Phone Holder (Mag Safe-compatible):
The phone holder in this kit consists of two parts: the phone holder body and a Mag Safe compatible magnet. This magnet securely holds your smartphone in place within your car’s interior for easy data viewing. Additionally, the magnet is replaceable with a wireless charger (sold separately), offering you even more convenience and flexibility during your drives.

Plastic Tool for Disassembly:
A specialized tool for safely removing interior parts during installation, minimizing the risk of damage. These components have been thoughtfully chosen to ensure a smooth installation and maximize the functionality of the Teslogic Kit. In the following sections, we’ll guide you through the installation process step by step.

Installation

1. Open the right front door.

2. Turn off the car power.

3. Remove the rubber door seal.
   

4. Carefully remove the small plastic trim.
   

5. Using the tool provided, remove the piston.
   

6. Remove the plastic door sill.
   

7. Disconnect the white connector behind.
   

8. Сonnect the Teslogic wiring to the released socket and connector.
   

9. Connect Teslogic wiring to the blue connector.
   

10. Connect the Teslogic transmitter and place it in the recess below.
    
    

11. Reinstall the door sill.
    

12. Snap the piston.
    

13. Install the plastic trim and seal.
    

14. Stick the phone holder on top of the steering column.
    

15. Place the magnetic ring in your phone case or stick it to the phone body.
    
    Note: For right-hand drive vehicles, the connector is located on the driver’s side.

Mobile App Installation & Connection

After connecting the Teslogic transmitter, follow these steps to install the latest version of the Teslogic Dash app on your mobile phone. You can download it from the App Store (for Apple phones/tablets) or Google Play (for Android- based devices).

1. Launch the application.
2. The application will request your permission to use BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy). Click OK to confirm your consent. For a proper BLE connection, we recommend connecting to the transmitter through the app rather than using the phone’s Bluetooth manager.
3. Within 2-5 seconds, the app will establish a connection to the transmitter, and you can start using the Teslogic instrument panel.
4. It is possible for two or more users to connect to the app simultaneously.

Using the Mobile App

The Teslogic Dash app is continually updated and improved, which means that some features may not be covered in this description.

App Navigation:

The Teslogic Dash app consists of several screens or dashboards that you can switch between. You can do this by swiping or using the right scroll wheel on your steering wheel. By default, this feature works when the autopilot is off, but you can adjust it in the app settings.
You can also customize the sequence of screens and enable/disable specific screens in the app settings.
The app’s units of measurement synchronize with your Tesla’s settings. Similarly to the main Tesla screen, the Teslogic app offers both a light and dark theme, which typically switch in sync with your Tesla’s theme. However, you can manually toggle the theme in the app settings.

Main Screen:

• The main screen provides essential information about your current trip, autopilot status, headlights, turn signals, and more. If the turn signal indicator turns red instead of green, it means an object (another vehicle) is detected in your blind spot, requiring your attention.
• By long-pressing on any indicator on the left or right side of the central circle, you can access a menu that allows you to customize which data block and specific information you want to display on the instrument panel.
• Additionally, the main screen offers a “Low Vision Mode,” which increases font and element sizes for users with weak vision or those seeking enhanced visual comfort while driving. You can activate this mode in the settings.

Blind spot warning: Please note that the sensors of the vehicle may not detect all objects situated within the blind spot and there may be no alerts displayed via Teslogic app. It is the driver’s responsibility to exercise caution and maintain alertness while changing lanes, by conducting mandatory shoulder checks.

Performance Screen:

• Designed for enthusiasts, this screen displays a map of directions and acceleration values for your recent trip on the left side.
• In the center, you can find acceleration data from 0 to 60 miles per hour and the quarter mile sprint. To activate the measurement, you must come to a stop and then accelerate by fully pressing the accelerator pedal.
  

Energy Screen:

• This screen visually illustrates how energy is accumulating in your battery through regenerative braking or charging, as well as how it’s distributed among different vehicle systems. It also shows the percentage and kilowatts of energy spent by each consumer during the last trip.
  

Info Screen:

• Here, you can access comprehensive information about your Tesla. To display the complete VIN number, tap on it. You can switch between informational sections using buttons at the top of the screen. You can also share any information currently displayed on the screen using the “share” button in the upper right corner.
  

Map Screen:

• Teslogic Dash uses Google Maps for displaying maps and navigation. It overlays a small panel showing your speed and autopilot mode indicators.
• All vehicle messages and turn signals work while in map mode. To set a destination for navigation, you need to use the Google Maps app to set your destination and then share it with the Teslogic Dash app.
  

Preferences:

• In this section, you can customize various app parameters to suit your preferences.
  

Using Teslogic Shortcuts (Active Control Mode)

Teslogic Shortcuts comprise a collection of convenient commands that enable you to manage auxiliary vehicle systems not found in Tesla’s basic functionality. These commands add convenience without affecting the driving process or compromising vehicle safety.”

To activate the active control mode, you need to disconnect the Teslogic transmitter and then switch the Active Control toggle to “On” using a pin or another thin object. Afterward, reconnect the transmitter. Upon switching, you’ll find an additional screen in the app – Teslogic Shortcuts, where you can activate and customize these commands.
The list of these commands will be continually expanded, and you can access information about each command by tapping the “i” icon next to it.
Additionally, shortcuts can be accessed from the quick menu, which can be triggered on the main screen (via a specific combination). You can customize which commands appear in the quick menu on the Teslogic Shortcuts screen by tapping “Edit Quick Access.”

Troubleshooting

Message: “Warning! Teslogic isn’t receiving data from CAN1 channel.”

Troubleshooting Steps:

1. Check the Installation Location: Ensure that the device is correctly positioned in its designated location.
2. Verify the Wire Connections: Double-check that all wire connections are securely and correctly in place.
3. Photo Documentation (Recommended): For enhanced troubleshooting support, we strongly recommend capturing a clear photo of the device’s connections and wiring setup. Please send this photo to our support team at info@teslogic.co. It will assist us in accurately assessing the situation and providing you with the necessary assistance.

Incorrect data within the app

If you encounter that the application displays inaccurate data or incorrectly identifies your Tesla model, please record a log using the following instructions:

1. Connect the Teslogic app to your car.
2. Swipe to the left screen with settings.
3. Select the option “Yes, I’m a nerd.”
4. Choose “Binary log (*.tbl)” in the “recording logs…” line.
5. Return to the main dashboard screen.
6. You will now see a red circle in the top left corner; please tap it (the circle should blink).
7. Wait for approximately 1 minute and tap the red circle again. A sharing dialog will appear.
8. Choose your email application and send the recorded log to info@teslogic.co. Additionally, in the email, kindly specify your car model (e.g., “Model 3 SR+(LFP)”).
9. Please provide us with the information regarding your problem to help us promptly address your issue.

Connection issue

Troubleshooting Steps:

1. Delete and Reinstall the App: Begin by uninstalling the app from your device and then reinstall it.
2. Proper App Connection: Ensure that you connect to the transmitter within the app itself and not through your phone’s Bluetooth manager.
3. nRF Connect App Test: If your device still doesn’t recognize the transmitter, consider installing the ‘nRF Connect’ app. Check if this app successfully detects the Teslogic BLE device.
4. Consider trying to connect to the transmitter from another phone. This can help identify whether the problem is specific to your device, ensuring a more effective troubleshooting process.
5. Contact Support: If none of the previous steps resolve the issue, please reach out to our support team at info@teslogic.co. Provide information regarding your phone model and your Tesla model for more specialized assistance.

Which side is the connector on RHD vehicles?
On RHD cars, the connector is located on the driver’s side.

Impact on Tesla Warranty

According to the official Tesla Vehicle Limited Warranty document, installing third-party accessories does not void the warranty for the vehicle as a whole. Tesla does not explicitly state that installing third-party accessories voids the vehicle’s warranty.
Additionally, Teslogic provides a switch that allows you to enable or disable the active control mode. When this mode is disabled, Teslogic functions as a passive data receiver and does not impact the functionality of your car. In essence, Teslogic is designed to be safe for your vehicle and does not pose any harm.
However, as a precautionary measure, we recommend removing Teslogic from your car before visiting a Tesla service center. This is to prevent any potential issues with the service staff.
