Wireless Car Phone Charger

The wireless car phone charger itself, equipped with a 1.8-meter cable and a USB-C connector.

USB-C to USB-A Adapter

This adapter is specifically included for compatibility with Tesla Model 3 vehicles from 2017 to 2020, which has USB-A connectors in the back of the center console.

90-Degree USB-C to USB-C Adapter

This adapter is designed to facilitate a more convenient and secure connection to the USB port located in the back of the center console of Tesla Model 3/Y vehicles

For iPhones that are not Magsafe-compatible, you have the flexibility to enhance compatibility with the Teslogic wireless car phone charger using one of the following options:

Option 1 – Magnetic Ring (Provided in Teslogic Transmitter Kit):

Attach the magnetic ring included in the Teslogic Transmitter kit to your iPhone’s case. This enables a secure attachment to the charger, extending compatibility to a wide range of iPhone models.

Option 2 – Magsafe-Compatible Phone Case:

Alternatively, you can use a Magsafe-compatible phone case available for various iPhone models. With this case, you can simply place your iPhone on the charger, and it will securely attach and start charging.

Compatibility – Android Phones

For Android smartphones, compatibility is ensured by attaching the magnetic ring included in the Teslogic transmitter kit to your device or its case. In addition, for those using a Magsafe-compatible Android phone case, you can also enjoy secure and efficient wireless charging by simply placing your Android phone on the Teslogic wireless car phone charger. This offers compatibility with a wide array of Android devices on the market.

Using the phone with a phone case

When using a phone case with the Teslogic wireless car phone charger, please ensure the following6

• If your phone case is Magsafe-compatible, it will securely attach to the charger, enabling seamless wireless charging.
• For non-Magsafe-compatible cases, use the magnetic ring provided in the Teslogic Transmitter kit to ensure a secure attachment and efficient wireless charging.

These precautions are essential for reliable charging and secure attachment.

Safety precautions

Clean the Surface: Prior to mounting, clean the chosen area thoroughly with a suitable cleaning agent to ensure a secure adhesive bond.

Proper Alignment: Ensure the mount is level and correctly aligned. After installation, your phone should stand completely straight without tilting downward.

Allow for Adhesive Cure Time: After attaching the mount, wait for the adhesive to fully cure. Follow the manufacturer’s recommended curing time before using the mount to ensure a strong bond.

Use the Magnetic Ring: If your phone lacks MagSafe compatibility, attach the provided magnetic ring securely to the back of your phone, ensuring it’s centered.

Connect the Charger: Connect the wireless charger to the mount following the instructions provided in the video manual. Ensure that the charging cable is properly routed to avoid tangling or interfering with your driving. Using the elbow connector with the USB cable is recommended for added durability.

Secure Your Phone: Carefully place your phone on the mount, ensuring it connects securely to the charger or magnetic ring.

Adjust Viewing Angle: Set the viewing angle that allows you to see your phone without taking your eyes off the road. Make any necessary adjustments before driving.

Avoid Overloading: Be mindful not to overload the mount or charger with heavy or bulky items, as excessive weight or force can lead to damage.

Installation manual

1. Place the charger on the phone.
   

2. Thread and pass the cable from the charger into the opening in the holder.
   
   

3. Peel off the protective tape from the adhesive and affix the holder to the charging disc in such a way that the holder’s support aligns with the edge of the phone.
   
   

4. Move the steering wheel towards yourself until it stops and lower it down.
   

5. Affix the holder to the steering column in a way that, during normal driver’s seating, the driver has a full view of the phone screen through the upper steering wheel opening.
   

6. Pass the charging cable through the slit in the fabric between the steering column and the dashboard.
   
   

7. Pull the cable down from the bottom of the steering column.
   

8. Route the cable under the soft body on the side of the center console.
   
   

9. Connect the charging cable to the USB port at the end of the center console.
   If you have a Tesla Model 3 from 2017 to 2020, there are USB-A ports behind the center console. In that case, you need to use the USB-C to USB-A adapter provided in the kit for the connection.
   We also recommend everyone to use the 90-degree USB-C to USB-C adapter included in the kit for the connection. This will make the connection safer as it won’t be accidentally touched by rear passengers.
   

10. Place your phone on the holder.
    

WARNING! Proper Phone Removal

When removing your phone from the charger holder, always slide the phone upwards along the charging surface. Do not attempt to pull the phone towards you. Pulling the phone towards you may lead to mechanical damage to the charger.

We urge you to adhere to this guideline to prevent any potential damage to the charger and ensure its continued functionality.

Troubleshooting

Charging problem

1. Unplug the charger from your device and the power source.
2. Rotate the cable 180 degrees to ensure a secure connection.

Magnetization problem

If you’re using a phone case and facing magnetization problems, consider these solutions:

Option a: Remove the Phone Casy

1. Take off your phone case
2. Reconnect the charger to check for improved magnetization.

Option b: Use a Special Magnetic Casy

1. Switch to a phone case designed for magnetic compatibility.
2. Test if magnetization is now working properly.

Option c: Attach the Magnetic Ring

1. Use the magnetic ring from the kit and attach it to your phone case.
2. Test if magnetization improves with the ring in place.

If you’re not using a phone case and still experience magnetization issues, please contact us at info@teslogic.co for a replacement charger.
