SET UP GUIDE
Power Up
- Insert 2-AA batteries Into your Atomic Clock.
- Enter the Settings Menu to adjust your time and date and other settings.
Atomic Time
- The clock will automatically search for the Atomic Time Signal at UTC 7:00, 8:00, 9:00, 10:00, and 11:00.
- The Atomic Time Signal Icon will flash while searching and be solid when it has connected.
- From the normal time display, hold the – (MINUS) button to manually start or stop a search for the atomic time signal. For information about Atomic Time (WWVB) visit: bit.ly/AtomicTime.
Settings Menu
- Hold the MODE button to enter the Settings Menu.
- Use the + / – buttons to adjust values.
- Press the MODE button to confirm and move to the next item.
- Press the SNOOZE button at any time to exit.
Settings Menu Order:
- Language (English or Spanish)
- Beep ON/OFF
- Atomic ON/OFF
- Time Zone
- Daylight Saving Time (DST) ON/OFF
- 12/24 Hour
- Hour
- Minutes
- Year
- Month
- Date
- Fahrenheit/Celsius
TIME ZONE
AST = Atlantic
EST = Eastern
CST = Central
MST = Mountain
PST = Pacific
AKT = Alaska
HAT = Hawaii
Language: Whichever language is selected, the following instructions as
well as your weekday and month abbreviation will be presented in that
language.
Atomic OFF: When Atomic OFF is selected, you will move directly to the
12/24 Hour setting. This will stop all Atomic Time searches and require manual
time adjustments.
Weekday: The Weekday will be set automatically when the Year, Month, and
Date are set.
Custom Display
Press the MODE button to change the clock display:
Top: Weekday/Month/Date or Full Weekday
Lower right section: Indoor Temperature, or Seconds, or Month/Date
Time Alarm
Set Alarm:
- Hold the ALARM button to enter the Alarm Settings. “AL” will show.
- Use the +/- buttons to adjust values.
- Press the ALARM button to confirm and move to the next item.
Silence a Sounding Alarm:
Press any button except SNOOZE to silence the alarm for 24 hours.
Activate/Deactivate Alarm:
- Hold the ALARM button to enter alarm settings. “AL” will show. Press the ALARM button to activate or deactivate the alarm.
- The Alarm Icon will show when the alarm is active.
Snooze:
- When the alarm sounds, press the SNOOZE button to silence the alarm for 10 minutes. Zz will show.
Note: The alarm will sound with increasing frequency for two minutes, then shut off automatically if not silenced.
Low Battery Indicator
The Low Battery Indicator will show between the hour and minutes when you need to replace the batteries.

Battery Replacement Instructions
When batteries of different brands or types are used together, or new and old
batteries are used together, some batteries may be over-discharged due to a
difference in voltage or capacity. This can result in venting, leakage, and
rupture and may cause personal injury.
- Always purchase the correct size and grade of battery most suitable for the intended use.
- Always replace the whole set of batteries at one time, taking care not to mix old and new ones or batteries of different types.
- Clean the battery contacts and also those of the device prior to battery installation.
- Ensure the batteries are installed correctly with regard to polarity (+ and -).
- Remove batteries from the product during periods of non-use. Battery leakage can cause corrosion and damage to this product.
- Remove used batteries promptly.
- For recycling and disposal of batteries, and to protect the environment, please check the internet or your local phone directory for local recycling centers and/or follow local government regulations.
