Installation Notes:

  • These skids are designed to fit a 2021-Current Bronco
  • These Skids will not fit a Bronco Sport
  • Refer to your factory service manual for the removal of any factory components.

  • 1 x B4W188947WP (Bronco Rear Shock Skid Passenger)
  • 4 x 94945A217 (3/8-16X7/8 Hex Bolt Grade 8 Yellow)
  • 4 x 92620A623 (3/8-16 Thin Nylock Yellow)
  • 4 x 37NWSAFY (3/8 SAE Washer Yellow Zinc)
  • 2 x 25C87HCS8Y (1/4-20 X 7/8 HHCS Grade 8 Zinc Yellow)
  • 2 x 25CNNE0Y/GC (1/4-20 Nylock Yellow)
  • 4 x 25NWSAFY (1/4 SAE Flat Washer Yellow)

Installation Steps

  • Step 1:
    • Park the Bronco on a level surface.
  • Step 2:
    • Place the Barnes4wd shock skid on the rear shock bracket as shown below.
  • Step 3:
    • Install the supplied hardware into the shock skid as shown below.
  • Step 4:
    • Tighten all hardware installed in step 3. Torque all 1/4 hardware to 8 Ft-Lbs and all 3/8 hardware to 20 Ft-Lbs.
  • Step 5:
    • Repeat steps 2 through 4 on the opposite side of the Bronco.
