Installation Instructions
Thank you for purchasing our Barnes4wd Axis Bed Rack Traction Board Mounts!
Installation Notes
- All Hardware is stainless steel to prevent corrosion. Hardware will need to be installed by hand with anti-seize to prevent galling.
- While installing leave all hardware loose until the final step.
- This Bracket is designed to fit Maxtrax or similar traction boards.
- The mount is designed to use a pin-style traction board mount (Maxtrax SKU MTXMPS or similar).
- These instructions assume that the base rack and the side panels have been installed.
- Some of the hardware in the previous instructions may need to be loosened or removed during installation.
- Torque all 3/8” hardware to 19 Ft-Lbs.
Tools required:
- 9/16” Wrench
- 7/32” Allen Socket
- 3/8” Driver Ratchet
- Anti-seize

Step 1:
Install the Barnes4wd traction board mount on the side panels as shown below
.
Step 2:
Install the pin-style traction board mount into the traction board mounts.
Step 3:
Install the traction boards on the mounts to get the correct spacing of the
mounting brackets. Remove the boards and tighten the hardware.
