D5 Rear Loadspace LED Lighting Kit

Step One:

Locate and mark center

Step Two:

Remove Left OEM LED light

Step Three:

Locate and release the three top left tailgate trim panel retaining clips. (Red Arrows)

Use a plastic trim removal tool to get behind the panel to release the three retaining clips

Step Four:

Insert a wire fishing tool behind the tailgate panel. (wire hanger shown here)

Tape bespoke OEM cable plug and socket adapter to the wire fishing tool

Step Five:

Gently pull the cable and socket adapter out the OEM LED light hole

Step Six:

Disconnect the OEM LED.

Plug the OEM cable into the bespoke socket adapter. (Red Arrow)

Plug the bespoke plug into the OEM LED light. (Red Arrow)

Step Seven:

File a small grove in the tailgate trim panel to allow a flat finish when closed. (Red Arrow)

Step Eight:

Firmly pop the top three tailgate retaining clips back into place.
Remove the red adhesive backing from the Lucky 8 LED light and firmly press in place. Replace the OEM LED light.

Installation is now complete!
