Product Usage Instructions:

Aircraft Painting:

When painting the AH-1Z aircraft, ensure to use the specified
colors and stencils provided in the kit for accurate
representation. Follow the TPS scheme with FS 35237 over FS 36375.
For specific aircraft versions, refer to the manual for additional
details on overpainting with Medium Green or other colors.

Nose Bay Doors:

Some aircraft variants have nose bay doors without visible
rivets. This feature is present in specific models like those flown
by the Royal Bahraini Air Force and the Czech Air Force.

Stencil Placement:

Refer to the stencil placement guide provided in the manual for
accurate positioning of stencils on different parts of the
aircraft. Pay close attention to the specified numbers and
locations for each stencil to ensure proper application.

Kit Tail Rotor:

For the tail rotor, ensure that the triangle and stripe from the
kit go on the outside of the blade. A stripe alone should be
applied to the inside of the blade. Align the stripes correctly on
both sides for uniformity.

Main Rotor Blades:

The main rotor blades should be painted Light Gray (36495) on
the entire top surface and black on the bottom surfaces. The
leading edges of the rotor blades should have a bare metal color
finish.

Nose

The AH-1Zs flown by the Royal Bahrainian Air Force and the Czech Air Force have doors that do not have the visible rivets found on most AH-1Zs.

Kit tail rotor traingle and stripe go on the outside of the blade. A stripe alone goes on the inside of the blade. The stripes should line up on both sides.

The kit tail rotor blade is incorrectly shaped. If you choose to reshape the blades, they should be like this. Use the smaller decals.

At some time, the aircraft was assigned to LtCol JB “Gash” Lagoski and his name was put on the aircraft under the back seaters cockpit.
