General Instructions

  • Please, take time to read well the instructions for use, particularly before the first use.
  • A misuse of the appliance can damage it or hurt the user. Assure that you use the appliance for the use for which it is designed; We refuse any responsibility for the damages by an incorrect use or a bad manipulation.
  1. Before use check that the voltage of your wall outlet corresponds to the rated voltage manner.

  2. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer its service agent, or a similarly qualified person to avoid a hazard (*).

  3. Note when unpacking the appliance: DANGER for children. Danger to life through suffocation! Keep the packaging material away from children

  4. To prevent a life-threatening electrical shock:
    Keep the appliance away from water!
    WARNING: Do not use this appliance near bathtubs, showers, basins, or other vessels containing water.

  5. When the hair straightener is used in a bathroom, unplug it after use since the proximity of water presents a hazard even when the hair straightener is switched off.

  6. Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquids.

  7. Do not use the appliance while taking a bath.

  8. Water and other liquids represent a danger. If the appliance falls into water, pull out the main plug immediately.

  9. Pull the mains plug from the socket:

    • When a disturbance occurs.
    • Before you clean the appliance.
    • If you will not be using the appliance for a longer period.
    • After each use.
  10. For additional protection, the installation of a residual current device (RCD) having a rated residual operating current not exceeding 30 mA is advisable in the electrical circuit supplying the bathroom. Ask your installer for advice.

  11. This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensor,y or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.

  12. Children shall not play with the appliance.

  13. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be done by children without supervision.

  14. Make sure that the cable is not pinched in cupboard doors or pulled over hot surfaces. Otherwise, the cable insulation may become damaged.

  15. The cable must not be twisted, pulled, kinked, or wound around the dryer. If the cable is twisted, untwist it before use.

  16. Before use check the cable for damages.

  17. Regularly check the appliance and above all the cable for defective and porous locations.

  18. To avoid breaks never wind the cable around the appliance.

  19. Watch out that the plug never contacts hot parts of the appliance.

  20. Only use the appliance when the appliance, cable, and plug show no sign of damage. Never use a defective appliance.

  21. Never try to repair a defective appliance yourself.

  22. The danger of burning! Plates warm very fast, do not touch them. Hold them distant from your skin. Let cool them after use.

  23. Do not leave an unsupervised device when you do not use it.

  24. Insert no object into the appliance.

  25. This appliance is reserved for domestic use. Any other use (professional, commercial, etc.) is excluded.

  26. DangThe danger fire due to high temperatures. Do not use artificial hair or capillary extensions.

  27. The danger is due to electrical shock! Never touch the hair straightener with wet hands when connecting it to the electrical mains or during mains operation! Withdraw the mains plug from the socket before you clean the appliance.

  28. Overheat protection! If the appliance overheat switch off entirely and let it cool for about 6 to 15 minutes.

Once cooled down, the appliance can be used again. (*) Competent qualified electrician: after sales department of the producer or importer or any person who is qualified, approved, and competent to perform this kind of repairs to avoid all danger. In any case, you should return the appliance to this electrician.

Warning

  • The following should be noted to ensure trouble-free operation:
  • Only operate the appliance according to the details on the nameplate. Do not subject the hair dryer to temperatures below 10°C and above 35°C
  • Thoroughly clean the appliance after each use Allow the appliance to run for approx.3-5 minutes before using it for the first time.
  • During this time a slight odor may arise due to the manufacturing process. This is harmless and only occurs when first used.

Description

Before use, ensure you the hair straightener is clean of dust or dirt. Your hair has to be clean, dry, and tangle tree. We recommend you establish your hair type before using the appliance and test it on strands of hair.

Use

  1. Plug the unit and push the switch button upward (ON), the light will flash, and the default setting temperature will display on a digital screen. The appliance will be ready after 45 seconds

  2. You can adjust the temperature from 150°C to 230°C thanks to the button “+” or “-“. We recommend beginning with lowering the temperature first.
    Note:
    Low temperature for fine hair / middle temperature for medium hair / high temperature for thick hair.

  3. You can start styling, and run the hair straightener through the total length of the hair section you chose without stopping. The integrated comb will facilitate this operation.

  4. After use, push the switch button downward (OFF), and the light will go off, let the appliance cool down, and lock the plates before storing.

Note:

  • There is an automatic security lock system after 45 minutes.
  • During use, the front cover will be high temperature, appliance and hair root must keep a distance between 3/5cm to avoid burning.

Cleaning and care

  1. Remove the mains plug from the mains socket after use and let the appliance cool down well.
  2. Clean the different parts of the appliance with a damp cloth.
  3. Never use any abrasive agents or solvents.
  4. Use the loop at the power cord to hang the appliances on a hook.
