Installation and Use
- As shown in(Diagram 3), use the suction cups to correctly fix the heater in the proper position of the aquarium(Please do not bury the product in the filter material or sand of the fish tank). The heater needs to be placed in a place with good water circulation (such as around a water pump) to ensure uniform heat in the fish tank.
- In order to prevent the water of aquarium from flowing back to the controller or power sockets along the wires, the power socket should be higher than the water surface of the aquarium ; Or make a bend at the front of the controller as shown in(Diagram 2).
- Plug in the power supply, the power indicator is on , and the number displays the current temperature (When it is detected that the current temperature is lower than the set temperature , the heater will start working and the heating indicator is on ; When the current temperature is higher than the set temperature, the heating indicator will be off).
- Temperature setting: simply press the “SET” button shown in(Diagram 1 ), and the number starts to flash , indicating that it has entered the temperature setting state. The set temperature is cycled at 69-95·f. When it reaches the set temperature you want, just stop pressing , the number stops flashing and turn to show the current temperature , it means the temperature-setting is completed. The final flashing number is what you set(Please note if you want to check the temp you set, you need to press the button again , it will show you by flashing) . And the heater will remember what you set, you don’t need to set it again if the power cut off and connect again.
- This heater has a built-in water level sensing device. If the heater leaves the water surface, the digital display is “E1”.
- When the actual current temperature is higher than 93°F (34°C) or 6 degrees higher than the set temperature , the heater will automatically start the over-heating protection function . The heater will stop heating and display “E2”. At this situation , you must cut off the power, wait 3 seconds , and then plug it in. If the “E2” display appears again , you must find out the reason and lower the temperature of the aquarium before use.
