Inevitably, the copper tube’s surface oxidizes throughout the manufacturing process, which somewhat affects appearance but has no impact on heat exchanger performance.
Description
Alecoil Heat Exchangers are high quality and built to last! They are a great fit for used with any other source of hot water such as a boiler or outdoor wood furnace to create hot air. This unit is most commonly used in conjunction with an outdoor wood furnace to transfer heat into your existing forced air system.
These compact units are designed to maximize heat transfer by utilizing a
series of 3/8″ copper tubes with high density aluminum fins. The fins are
spaced so that the fin density is 12 fins per inch.
Additionally, it used the technique of sine wave fins and rifled copper tubes,
which is the secret to great performance and efficiency and gives you an extra
10–20% heat exchanger performance.
