TOPIOM TM3 MONITOR
PRODUCT SPECIFICATION
OVERVIEW
The Topiom TM3 performance monitor has been desigend to balance a high level
of technical sophistication with user friendliness.The Topiom TM3 monitor is
composed of 5 information & program setting windows, 8 shortcut buttons and 2
navigation buttons.
The 5 information & program setting windows of the TM3 monitor include:
- Electricity—dispalys the current electricity volume
- Bluetooth—displays the current Bluetooth status
- Stroke Rate—displays the number of strokes rowed per minute
- Intensity—displays the exercise intensity in each unit time
- Zones—displays the relative position of the preset working area
- Distance—displays the distance rowed per unit time
- Duration—displays duration of continuous exercise
TM3 PERFORMANCE MONITOR ON/OFF
Power on: Press and hold the ON button to start the TM3 monitor. At this
moment, the data of each unit in the information & program setting windows
light up, and the monitor will automati cally start counting when the rowing
starts.
Power off. If there is no rowing or no operation of the monitor within 4
minutes, the monitor will automatically shut down, If there is no operation
for more than 4 minutes during intermit- tent exercise, the monitor will
automatically shut down. Long-pressing the ON button can also shut down the
monitor. It is recommended that users long press the ON button to shut down
after use to save power.
Pause: During the rowing process, press the ON button can pause the monitor.
If there is no operation within 4 minutes, the monitor will automatically shut
down.
Reset: In the process of setting up the monitor, you can reset the data at any
time by pressing and holding the RESET button, and return to the initial
interface.
INFORMATION & PROGRAM WINDOWS SETTING
INTENSITY
TM3 monitor can display the intensity information, including:
- m/s: the number of meters stroked per second
- mph: the number of miles stroked per hour
- /500m: the time used for each row of 500-meters
- /2km: the time used for each row of 2 kilo meters
- watts: Watts
- Keal/hr: calories consumed per hour
When setting the intensity for calories consumed per hour, press the UNIT button once, then press the and buttons to select the desired intensity unit, and press the OK button to save.

When setting the distance, press the UNIT button twice, then press the T and | buttons to select the desired distance unit, and press the OK button to save.

Displays time in : hour, minute,second,millisecond
DISPLAY WINDOWS SETTING
Press the UNIT button to change the display of each window, press the UNIT
button several times to switch, the switching sequence is: intensity,
distance.
INTENSITY SETTING
Press the UNIT button once to enter the intensity setting interface, use the
up and down buttons to adjust to the desired intensity unit , press the OK
button to save.
DISTANCE SETTING
Press the UNIT button twice to enter the intensity setting interface, use T
and | buttons to adjust to the desired distance unit , press the OK button to
save.
ZONES VALUES SETTING
Users can set the interval, maximum and minimum for intensity , and stroke
rate. When the monitored value is below the lower limit or exceed the upper
limit , the monitor will prompt with a beep.
INTENSITY SETTING
Press the UNIT button once, users will get the intensity unit.
Then press the and buttons (arrow buttons) to select the desired unit (m/s,
mph, /500m, /2km, watt, cal/h). Then press the OK button to confirm. Press the
ZONES button once to enter the intensity zone values setting.

Once the intensity is reached, press “OK” to confirm Default.
STROKE RATE SETTING
Press the ZONES butten twice to enter the stroke rate threshold setting. press
the and buttons to adjust the required stroke rate monitoring upper or lower
limit, and press the OK button to save.
TRAINING SETTING
You can preset your training models in the setting. such as 5000 meters
rowing, 10 minutes rowing, 5 minutes rowing,20 seconds rest and other types of
training settings.
TIME SETTING
Press the PROG button once to enable the time setting mode, increase or
decrease the fixed training time by pressing and Button. The time will be
countdown when you start rowing.
DISTANCE SETTING
Press the PROG button twice to enter the distance setting mode. use the and
buttons to adjust the meters/mileages of the required exercise. and press the
OK button to save. After starting to row. the monitor automatically enters the
countdown of kilometers.
TIME INTERVAL SETTINGS
Press the PROG button twice to enter the time interval setting mode.
Continue setting until the number of required training is set, press the OK
button twice to save the setting. After rowing begins, the monitor
automatically enters the time interval training state.
DISTANCE INTERVAL SETTINGS
Press the PROG button 4 times.
Continue setting until the number of required training is set, press the OK button twice to save the setting. After starting to row, the monitor automatically enters the distance interval training state.
TRAINING RECORD
The monitor has a “self-storage” function, which can automatically store 9 exercise programs that have been used recently. Press the STORED button to view the historical training programs (displayed in sequence 1-9, press and buttons to view each.) When the desired training program is selected, press the OK button to launch.
CHARGING
There is a USB port on the right side of the monitor. The included USB cable
can be used for battery charging, but the user needs a 5V, 1A charging plug.
When charging, the battery icon on the monitor will flash, indicating that it
is being charged. Please put in four AA rechargeable batteries into the built-
in battery tray.
Without any operation more than 4 minutes during the charging process, the
monitor will automatically black out, and the battery icon will no longer
flash, but the charging is still ongoing By defaults, the screen will turn off
if monitor keep in silence in 4 minutes. The battery icon will stop flashing,
but the charging.
TRAINING PROCESS RECORDING FUNCTION
Press the RECORDS button once, the monitor enters the record viewing mode,
users can select the viewing mode (mode A or B) by pressing / button.
After pressing the OK button, the monitor displays the history record, and
users can switch to the desired record groups and number by pressing / button.
There are 6 record groups in total and each group contains 30 records.
Note:
- If the monitor has no exercise record, it will display NC.
- The data can be recorded only in interval mode.
1. According to the pre-set N-sets time interval training, when the training is finished or paused, users can enter the data viewing interface, and can also switch the displayed data statistics mode.
Mode A: Focusing on the time set for each group of training, the time set
for each round is displayed separately, and the distance data, intensity data,
and StrokeRate data after each round of training are displayed.
Mode B: Focusing on the time set for each group of training, the
cumulative time set for each round is displayed, and the cumulative statistics
of each round of data are based on chronological order, and the distance data,
intensity data, and StrokeRate data after each round of cumulative training
are displayed.

Mode B
BLUETOOTH AND APP CONNECTION
The Bluetooth is always on, which can be automatically connected when you open
FISHOW.
USING THE APPS “FITSHOW” & “KINOMAP”
The monitor can be connected via Bluetooth to communicate with the apps
Fitshow and Kinomap.
FITSHOW
The Fitshow app helps you achieve smart rowing. Download the Fitshow app in
the Apple App Store or Google Play Store by searching “Fitshow” or following
one of the links below:

To record training data, you need to register in the app. However, a simple
training without permanent data recording is also possible without
registration.
To start a workout with the app, you must first activate the Bluetooth
function of the monitor (press the “Bluetooth” button) – the Bluetooth icon
appears on the display.
If you are not registered, a corresponding message may appear.
Confirm by tapping “Continue”. Now you can start training and the
corresponding data will be displayed in the app (see figure next page), while
the monitor only displays the Bluetooth icon.
If your device’s training monitor is not found, please check if Bluetooth is
enabled on your training device and on your mobile device.
If you want to finish the workout, tap and hold the red STOP button in the
app.
KINOMAP
The Kinomap app turns your device into a powerful and fun fitness product!
Choose from the geotagged video on Kinomap and go! Your position is shown in
the video and as icon on the map. Download the Kinomap app in the Apple App
Store or Google Play Store by searching “Kinomap” or following one of the
links below:

Install the app, register your account and log in.
Activate Bluetooth®. Now add the exercise device as follows:
After choosing your device, tap “Browse” to return to the main menu.
You can now choose a course for your exercise (Depending on your type of
Kinomap account, maybe only some free courses are available). Tap on “TRAIN
NOW” and begin!
