Transfer trolley for transporting mobile units
WARNING: After loading the washer-disinfector-contaminated surfaces on the transfer trolley must be treated using a suitable disinfecting agent which complies with national health and sa-fety regulations.
- The Miele transfer trolley can be used to transport mobile units from the preparation area to the washer-disinfector, and then from the washer-disinfector to the checking and packing table.
- The height of the transfer trolley can be adjusted. This must be carried out by Miele Service.
- The height should be set so that the docking mechanism on the transfer trolley and the washer-disinfector connect properly.
- The rollers on the transfer trolley and in the washer-disinfector should be at the same height so that the mobile units can be transferred easily from one to the other.
Coupling the transfer trolley
WARNING: The service panel on the washer disinfector must be securely locked.
- Couple the trolley to the docking mechanism on the washer-disinfector. The transport safety catch releases itself automatically.
- Swing the locking lever over to the right. Check that the trolley is securely connected to the washer-disinfector.}|
- Secure the brakes on the castors.
- Roll the mobile units from the transfer trolley into the wash cabinet.
Disconnecting the transfer trolley
- Open the door.
- Roll the mobile units out of the wash cabinet onto the transfer trolley.
- Swing the locking lever back over to the left, and release the castors.
The safety catch on the mobile unit will release itself automatically when the transfer trolley is disconnected from the washer-disinfector.
Cleaning
The tray on the transfer trolley is removable and can be hung by the hooks
underneath the tray on the side of the transfer trolley.
This prevents water from collecting in the tray and ensures the tray gets
thoroughly cleaned if the trolley is cleaned/disinfected in a trolley washer.
Drain connection
A connector for a drain hose is provided in the middle of the tray. Before
this can be used, a drainage hole needs to be drilled in the tray.
Use a Ø 5 mm drill bit to do this.
WARNING: The hole will need to be smoothed and treated with a rust inhibitor.
