 Blue LED Indicators

  • Both blue LEDs flash simultaneously when taking a photo.
  • The two LEDs flash by turns: and capture a time-lapse video.
  • Both LEDs flash blue simultaneously 10 times: recording a 10-second short video clip.
  • Battery Is low: after pressing the shutter, the right LeD flashes with an error warning sound. You can still take pictures at this time, but the camera might not be able to save the photo successfully. Please charge the batteries or connect the camera to a power bank to make sure the photo can be saved without any issues.
  • The problem of the SD card: after pressing the shutter button, the left LED flashes + warning tone. Check whether the SD card is inserted correctly/ unlocked / formatted before use.
  • Out of battery: after pressing the shutter button, no LED flashes. Please make sure you are using a rechargeable battery, thaution: De the argerma-rechargeable after to avoid damage to the battery.)

How To Take A Photo

  1. Ensure 2 x AAA rechargeable batteries and an SD card (below 128 GB) are inserted properly before use.
  2. When using the battery, use the effects switch for effect selection (colour, B&W, sepia, blue)
  3. To take a photo, press the shutter once and both LED indicators will flash blue once, photo will be saved while hearing the shutter sound. *Please note that if there’s only the “beep” sound but no shutter sound, it means the battery’s power is low, please charge/replace the batteries right away. The “beep” sound indicates the camera is doing the exposure metering.
  4. To view the photos, remove the SD card from the camera and insert it into a PC or laptop. Alternatively, you can also use the USB Type-C cable to export the photos.

How To Take Time-Lapse Video

  1. Ensure the camera is connected to a power bank and an SD card is inserted properly before use.
  2. When powered by a power bank via a USB Type-C port, turn the effects switch to the 3rd mode.
  3. Press the shutter button to start the time-lapse recording. The two LEDs will flash by turns shortly each time the camera takes a picture. When done, pictures will be converted to video clips, and the LEDs flash by turns until finish.
  4. To stop a time-lapse recording: turn the effects switch to another mode during the recording, press the shutter button once and the file will be saved into a clip.
  5. The camera will keep recording time-lapse video until the power runs out or the memory card is full. Every 30 minutes, the camera will be produced into a 10-second time-lapse video clip.

Notice, the video won’t be converted unless the resulting video clip is longer than 1 sec.

How To Take A 10 Seconds Video Clip

  1. Ensure the camera is connected to a power bank and an SD card is inserted.
  2. When powered by a power bank via USB Type-C cable, turn the effects switch to the 4th mode.
  3. To start recording: press the shutter button once and both LED indicators will keep flashing for 10 seconds until ended, you can press the shutter button again to stop during the recording.

Charging Rechargeable Batteries Through The Camera

  1. Connect your camera to an external power source via a USB Type-C cable.
  2. Once connected the green LED will light up.
  3. When charging is completed, the green LED will go out.

For Efficiency And Safety

It’s the best practice to charge the batteries w/ the original vender battery charger.

  • When the green LED is lit, it indicates the battery is charging. (must use the rechargeable battery)
  • If there’s a red light up indicates that the batteries were inserted in the wrong direction.

A Quick check : In case any malfunction happened, please check your camera with the following steps first:

  1. Remove the batteries
  2. Connect the camera to a power bank with the USB Type-C cable. (Note: Do not connect to PC or Mac)
  3. Make sure the power is on and the color filter switch is on the 1st mode.
  4. Press the shutter button to test.
  5. If the camera can works normally, please replace the batteries with rechargeable ones.
  6. If the camera still not working, please contact us for more technical support

Al’ve inserted batteries, but the camera won’t turn on?

  • Ensure you use NiMH/NiCd rechargeable batteries (Please don’t use Alkaline / Carbon zinc / Heavy Duty batteries).
  • Check the two batteries are inserted in correct polarity.
  • With every snap, the camera will turn on – take a photo – turn off automatically.

How can I tell if there is a memory card error and how do I fix it?

  • The left Blue LED will flash repeatedly with error sound after you press the shutter button.
  • Ensure you use a standard SD memory card below 128GB.
  • Remove the SD card and re-insert.
  • Format the SD card before you use, please use exFAT or FAT32(choose 32k unit size if asked) the format.
  • Try another SD card that’s under 128GB, ensure you unlock the SD card and format it before use.
  • When using a Wifi SD card, please use a USB external power source. Please refer to WiFi SD card’s manual to receive your photo from the card.

Caution
Clean the lens to prevent blurry or distorted pictures, avoid shaking or low lighting environment for better picture quality.

  • Do not expose the camera to humid environment or water.
  • Do not subject the camera to excessive vibration force or pressure.
  • Do not expose the camera to fire or extreme heat.
  • Choking hazard – watch out small parts for children under 3 years old.
  • Do not look at the sun when using the effect lenses, it may cause loss of vision or visual disturbance.
  • Do not charge any batteries other than rechargeable batteries.

Warranty

Warranty Policy

  • The camera board is warranted against any defects for a period of 6 months from the date of original retail purchase ( Warranty Period).
  • Defective or malfunctioning PaperShoot products bought through retail channels are covered for 6 months from the purchase date.
  • Please note that the warranty is only valid with the original purchase receipt.
