Appliance Equipment
Appliance Overview

- Unit door / Bull’s eye
- Ventilation grille
- Filter base
- Service cover
- Condensation tank
- Mains plug
- Unit drum
- Lint filter
Working principle heat pump
Hot process air flows through the drum and thereby the therein wet laundry.
The humidity of the laundry is absorbed by the air, and then discharged in the
heat pump. There, the air is cooled using a refrigerant, which stores the ex-
tracted energy.
Energy is not (hardly) getting lost, because this is used to warm the cooled
air, which is then trans-ferred to the laundry and thus the circle is closed.
Installation
WARNING: The unit must not be connected to the mains during installing. Otherwise there is danger to life or electric shock hazard!
Installation location
- The site should be located near a properly grounded power socket. The socket must be freely accessible.
- Good ventilation around the appliance is required, to dissipate the heat properly. Enough clearance must be created for this purpose.
- The free space in front of the unit should be so that the appliance door can be opened without hindrance.
- Make sure that the floor on which the appliance is installed, is even, heat-resistant and clean.
- Take care of a solid and horizontal position of the appliance. If the appliance is not horizontally lev-eled, adjust the feet accordingly (see “Adjust the feet”).
Avoid the installation:
- near heaters, next to a stove, direct sunlight or any other heat sources;
- at locations with high humidity (e.g. outdoors), as metal parts would be susceptible to corro-sion under such circumstances;
- in places where the temperature could drop below 5°C and rinse above 35°C. Do not ex-pose the appliance any weather.
- near volatile or flammable materials (e.g. gas, fuel, alcohol, paint, etc.).
Adjusting the feet
CAUTION: The feet must never be removed. Do not restrict the floor clearance through carpets, strips of wood or similar. Danger of heat accumulation!
- Loosen the lock nuts with a wrench.
- Turn the feet to the right to let down the appli-ance; turn to the left to lift it up.
- Check with a spirit level if the appliance is leveled horizontally. If the appliance is not in balance, the feet must be adjusted again.

Program table
NOTE: The listed values are approximate and recommendations under normal conditions and therefore not binding. The actual consumption / drying time may differ from the given values depending on the amount of the laundry, residual moisture, temperature and any additional functions selected.
Standard program: Cotton Standard
When fully loaded and partially loaded, this drying program is used to
determine the information on the energy label. This program is suitable for
drying normal wet cotton textiles and most efficient in terms of cotton energy
consumption.
Program| Loading| Spin speed / Residual humidity| Standard
drying time| Energy consumption
---|---|---|---|---
Cotton Standard| 8 kg| 1000 rpm / 60%| 175 minutes| 1.90 kWh
Cotton Standard| 4 kg| 1000 rpm / 60%| 105 minutes| 1.10 kWh
Synthetics Standard| 3.5 kg| 800 rpm / 40%| 60 minutes| 0.60 kWh
The actual consumption / drying time may differ from the given values depending on the amount of the lau-ndry, residual moisture, temperature and any additional functions selected.
Automatic drying programs
The appliance detects the moisture of the load and adjusts the optimal drying
time automatically. The electronic control guarantees the best drying results
even with low loading of the dryer.
It is enabled for all programs, except for the pro-grams with time control.
Capacity
Do not overload the appliance, otherwise the textiles will be damaged and
drying will be impaired. Ob-serve the information in the “Program table”.
Starting the program
NOTE: Humming sounds at the beginning of a drying process, which are generated by the compressor start-up, are normal.
- Connect the appliance to the power supply and switch it on.
- Put your laundry in the drum.
- Close the appliance door properly.
- Set the required operating conditions.
- Start the drying program.
Changing the program
A change is not possible after the program has been started. To select a new
program, you must switch the appliance off and on again.
End of program
At the end of the drying process, several beeps will sound and the display
shows [0:00]. The control panel goes into standby mode and the unit performs
an automatic anti-crease phase.
Automatic anti-crease phase
If the laundry is not removed at the end of the drying program, the appliance
performs an automatic anti-crease phase of about 30 minutes (the anti-crease
control lamp flashes).
Note: the programs [Cold] – [Wool] – [Refresh] are excluded.g
The appliance continues its drum movement in inter-vals, thus protecting the
textiles against wrinkles. Thereafter, the operation is finally stopped.
During the anti-crease phase laundry can be removed.
Switching off
- Switch off the appliance.
- Clean the lint filter and empty the condensation tank as described under “Cleaning and Mainte-nance”.
- Keep the appliance door slightly open until the next drying process to avoid odors.
- If the appliance is not in use for a long period of time, disconnect the device from the power supply.
Energy saving tips
- Use the maximum capacity of the respective dry-ing program.
- Select the drying program according to the type of laundry and the required degree of dryness.
- Do not overly dry the laundry. This protects your laundry, prevents wrinkles and saves energy.
- Periodically clean the filter to prevent over-drying and high energy consumption.
- Ventilate the room well. The room temperature should not rise above 35°C.
Cleaning and Maintenance
WARNING:
- Always switch off the appliance and disconnect it from the power supply before cleaning and user maintenance.
- Allow the appliance to cool down enough before cleaning. Scalding!
- Do not use steam cleaners for cleaning the appli-ance; moisture could enter electrical components. Risk of electric shock! Hot steam could damage the plastic parts. The appliance must be dry be-fore restarting operation.
CAUTION:
- Do not use a wire brush or other sharp, abrasive items.
- Do not use any acidic or abrasive detergents.
Maintenance of the dryer
- Clean the appliance outer surfaces and the door sealing thoroughly with a soft, damp cloth. Use only mild cleaning agent.
- Check the drum regularly for dirt or fiber residues; also clean the drum and the inside of the door with a soft, damp cloth.
- Dry the appliance thoroughly before taking in operation again.
Cleaning the filter system
CAUTION:
- Dirty filter will affect the dry result. Check and clean the filter regularly.
- The appliance must never be operated without installed filter. Improper insertion of the filter may affect performance and damage the unit.
Lint filter
The lint filter in the door opening catches all lint that accumulates during
drying. Clean the filter before or after each drying process.
- Remove the filter upwards and open the filter.
- Strip the fluff by hand, using a damp cloth or cleaning the filter under running water.
- Thoroughly dry the filter and reinstall properly.
Filter base
The cleaning interval depends on the type of laundry and the amount of
detergent but clean the filter base after about every third drying operation.
- Loosen the service cover.
- Open the opposite locking lever.
- Pull the filter base out to the front.
- Strip the fluff by hand, if necessary, use a damp cloth or clean the filter under running water.
- Thoroughly dry the base and reinstall it properly.
Cleaning the ventilation grille
Clean the grill approximately every two months with a damp cloth. If
necessary, use a soft brush. Dry eve-rything thoroughly.
Emptying the condensation tank
Empty the condensation water tank in the control panel after each drying
process!
If the tank is overfilled during a running program, the drying process stops, and the corresponding symbol appears on the display. After emptying the condensation tank, press the START/PAUSE button to continue the drying process.
