Oh, hey! Just wanted to give you a quick rundown on this blow dryer and help you find the best ways to use it. I hope this makes your life a little easier and lasts you a really long time.

PREP
There are a few things I always recommend you do before using a blow dryer on your hair…

• prep wet hair with Leave-in Conditioner for softness, and an extra layer of protection
• use your favorite heat protectant if your hair is thin, brittle, dry, damaged, or lacking moisture
• you’ll always protect the health of your hair by using a lower heat setting, on any blow dryer, so start on medium and bump it up to the hotter setting if you need to

MY TIPS FOR.

SLEEK STRAIGHT

• turn ionic feature on
• use the nozzle attachment to direct airflow and help close cuticles
• use a round brush or flat brush to help smooth and polish your hair as it dries
• keep your dryer pointed downward, while you blow dry, for optimum shine
• use the cool shot button to help set your hair, and enhance shine, once you’ve finished smoothing the hair out
• tame flyaways with Soft Matte Pomade

ADD TEXTURE

• turn ionic feature off
• rough dry without the nozzle attachment
• use your fingers instead of a brush to dry as much as possible
• blow dry hair upside down for a minute or two at the end to lift hair off the scalp
• finish with Working Texture Spray once your desired style is complete

ADD VOLUME

• turn ionic feature off
• use Thickening Spray on wet hair from root to ends
• blow dry hair upside down for a minute or two at the end to lift hair off the scalp
• sprinkle Loose Styling Powder in the crown for added volume

CONTROL FRIZZ

• turn ion feature on
• use nozzle and the #kristinessblowdry method
• set with cold air

BOOST CURLS

• prep hair with Volumizing Mousse
• use diffuser attachment that’s included with your dryer
• turn ionic feature on
• use medium heat

ENCOURAGE WAVES

• use diffuser attachment
• prep wet hair with Air Dry Spray
• turn ionic feature off

PROTECT HAIR + SCALP

• turn ion feature on
• use medium heat setting
