Decorate your own sparkly jewelry box by gluing gemstone pieces onto the
included wooden box. Use the included guide to create your own pattern!

DECORATING THE JEWELRY BOX
The Jewelry Box is made of wood, please handle with care! It can chip or break
if dropped.
Take care to always place the Jewelry Box on a flat surface while working on
it, away from edges or areas where it can be bumped and knocked over.
When decorating your jewelry box, it is best to work on a flat surface with
plenty of space around you.
PLANNING YOUR DESIGN
We suggest that you use the included grid template to layout to plan your box
design. There are spaces for each of the box edges.
By planning, you can make sure that you’re 100% happy with your design before
committing to gluing it onto the box.
Be inspired by one of our suggested designs (find more online at
www.plbfun.com/instructions ) or create
your very own from scratch!
APPLYING THE GEMSTONES
Use the spreader stick to apply a thin layer of glue to a small area of the
frame.
Work in small areas, no more than 1.5” (4cm) square at a time.
This ensures the spread glue doesn’t dry before you apply the gemstone pieces.
(TIP: If your glue dries, simply add another thin layer and continue.)
Gently apply gemstone pieces to the area covered with glue.
(When applying the stones, don’t go right to the edge of the spread glue. This
will make it harder to apply glue to the next work area)
Repeat this process until you have transferred your design from the template
and decorated the entire box.
We suggest that you work in this order: Top, Front, Sides, and finally the
back, and that as you start gluing, you start from a corner, and work one row
at a time from there.
