- Do not scan the setting barcodes in the manual without instruction, it may cause barcode scanner not work properly.
- Some symbologies are not enabled by default, if you have request on this, you can find it on user manual “Barcode Settings” to enable it. For more barcodes not available in the user manual, please contact us for help.
USB Receiver Pairing Instructions
Step 1:
Method 1: Press and hold the button for 8 seconds until the scanner LED1
indicator flashing, it enters pairing state.
Method 2: Scan below pairing code I and code II in sequence, the scanner
LED1 indicator flashing, it enters pairing state.
Step 2: Then plug the USB receiver into the computer USB port, the
scanner LED1 indicator is always on, indicating that pairing is complete.
Step 3: Open notepad or other text on the device, use the scanner to scan
compatible barcodes, the barcode data can be output on it.
Note:
- After scanning the pairing codes /or long press button enter pairing state, please insert USB receiver into computer within one minute. If the pairing is not completed in one minute, you need to scan the pairing codes /or long press button again for pairing.
- At a same time only one device can be connected. If you need to connect to another Bluetooth device, please turn off the Bluetooth of the original device first and unplug the USB Receiver.

Bluetooth Pairing Instructions
Step 1:

Open Bluetooth on the mobile device and search for “R&B40” and click pairing.
The scanner LED1 indicator is always on, indicating that pairing is complete.
Step 3:
Open notepad or other text on the device, use the scanner to scan compatible
barcodes, the barcode data can be output on it.
Note:
- After scanning the pairing codes /or long press button enter pairing state, please complete the pairing within one minute. If the pairing is not completed in one minute, you need to scan the pairing codes /or long press button again for pairing.
- At a same time only one device can be connected. If you need to connect to another Bluetooth device, please turn off the Bluetooth of the original device first and unplug the USB Receiver.

Note:
- Instant Upload Mode: The data will be uploaded to the device immediately after scan, out of range it will not save the data, and there will be alarm beeps out of range.
- Automatic Storage Mode (default): If the scanner in range, the data will be uploaded to your device directly after scan; if the scanner out of range, will hear alarm beeps, the data will be saved in the memory chip. Press the scanner trigger to upload the saved data after back to range.
- Inventory Mode: The data will be saved in the memory chip, you can upload data to your device by scan the set code in the manual. (Refer to “Data Upload Instruction in Inventory Mode”)
Eg: Scan the“Upload all data”, the scanner will upload all data saved in the memory chip.

FAQ:
1.Q: Why does the USB receiver display a driver error (BLE Remote KMA Dongle) when connecting to the computer?
A: Because this error prompt (BLE Remote KMA Dongle) is for USB receiver upgrade, it does not affect pairing and usage.
2.Q: Why can't the scanner read the reverse barcode (white code on black background)?
A: The reverse barcode is default disable, please scan the enable setup code on user manual page 13 to enable it.
