  • Assembly Instructions:
    Follow the provided instructions to assemble the rollator properly.

  • Installing the Backstrap:
    Securely install the backstrap according to the instructions.

  • How to Use Brakes:
    To slow down, squeeze the brakes. Push down on the brake handles to lock them and pull up to unlock.

  • Using the Rollator:

Q: How do I adjust the brakes if they are too loose or too tight?
A: To adjust loose brakes, loosen the locking nut and turn the adjustment screw counter-clockwise. For tight brakes, loosen the nut and turn the screw clockwise.

Thank you for your purchase of a Triumph Maverick rollator. The Maverick is designed for an active lifestyle and was created with the lightest material – carbon fibre.
Please ensure that all users review the instructions carefully prior to use and are familiar with safety and operating instructions. Before assembling and using your new Triumph Maverick, please check that no damage to the frame or parts has occurred during shipping.

Please read these important tips to ensure your safety and get the most out of your Maverick

When using your Maverick

  1. When using the rollator, ensure the Maverick is fully opened with the seat locked in place.
  2. Test the brakes before operating the Maverick. When wheels are locked (see manual for locking and releasing), the wheels should not rotate. If they do, please return to dealer for adjustment.
  3. Always lock the brakes before sitting. Do not use the seat when the Maverick is on an incline or uneven ground. Test for stability before applying weight to hand grips.
  4. Always confirm that the handgrips are at equal height, and brake handle height adjustment levers are in the closed position.

Care and maintenance

  1. Regularly check any screws and moving parts on your Maverick and tighten as needed.
  2. Do not expose your Maverick to temperatures above 40°C (104°F) for extended periods as parts can overheat and burn the user.
  3. Replace wheels and other parts when significantly worn or damaged. .

Avoid improper use

  1. Do not use on stairs or escalators.
  2. Never use the Maverick in a moving vehicle.
  3. Use bag only for transport of objects and do not overload. (maximum weight: 5 kg (11 lbs).

Assembly Instructions

Unfolding the rollator
Open the frame lock and pull the brak1 e handles apar2 t. Press the side bars down until you hear a “click” in the fully open position.

Installing the backstrap
Slide the backstrap into the backrest connector. The button should “click” into position

Adjust handle height

Your rollator comes with adjustable handles so you can place your hands at a comfor3 table height. Lift the handle height adjustment lever, and raise or lower the brake handle to your preferred height. Push down the handle height adjustment lever to lock the brake handles. Make sure your hands are at a comfortable angle with your shoulders back not stooped.

Attaching the shopping bag
Attach the shopping bag onto the bag hook on the front of the seat.

How to use brakes
Squeeze the brakes to slow down.
Push down on the brake handles to lock the brakes. Pull up on the brake handles to unlock the brakes.

  • If the brake is too loose, loosen the locking nut, and turn the adjustment screw counter-clockwise.
  • If the brake is too tight, loosen the locking nut, and turn the adjustment screw clockwise.

How to use your rollator

To walk with the rollator
Stand up as straight as possible and walk with the rollator close to your body. Keep your feet centred. Do not push the rollator away from your body, as this will cause you to bend your back, and could potentially cause a fall.

To sit on the rollator
To sit on the rollator, ensure that the brakes are in the LOCKED position, and the rollator does not move. Using the handles for stability, carefully turn around. Gently back up until the back of your legs are touching the edge of the seat, and sit down. Ensure both feet make contact with the ground while seated

DO NOT STOP ON SLOPED SURFACES!

Curb climber
We recommend you use the Maverick’s built-in curb climber. This is designed to save you lifting the rollator over obstacles such as thresholds and curbs. Just step down on the curb climber and with a gentle pull back on the handles, the rollator will raise its front wheels to easily move over obstacles.
Cane holder
The rollator comes with an cane holder which consists of two parts, an upper hook and a lower foldable base.

Cup holder
The rollator comes with a cup holder which is ideal for transporting drinks.

Folding and Storage

To fold the rollator, pull up on the centre seat strap. The rollator can now be folded and locked using the frame lock.

Maintenance

  • Regular maintenance will preserve the life and safety of your Maverick. The following should be checked at regular intervals.
  • To adjust brake tension: If the brake handle is too tight, loosen the locking nut, and turn the adjustment screw clockwise. Re-tighten the locking nut. If the brake handle is too loose, loosen the locking nut, and turn the adjustment screw counterclockwise. Re-tighten the locking nut.
  • Check all screws and bolts are tight.
  • Clean the rollator using mild soap and water. Wipe dry.
  • Keep the wheels clean. Use soap and water.
  • If any parts are damaged or broken, or the rollator is not working properly, discontinue use, and contact your dealer for service.

Warranty

  • Triumph Mobility covers the Maverick Rollator with a lifetime warranty on the frame, and a five-year warranty on the brake handles against defects in material and workmanship. All other components are warrantied for two (2) years.
  • This warranty is valid for the original purchaser only and is not transferrable. Triumph Mobility will not warranty any parts that have been damaged due to improper installation, modification, and/or misuse. For warranty service, please return your rollator to your local dealer. Service charges are of the discretion of the dealer and are not the responsibility of Triumph Mobility.

When registering, please include the serial number. The serial number can be located on the left side of frame.

Theft & Vandalism Insurance

Our clients know that they can depend on our Triumph rollators. They can rely on us to replace it if it stolen or vandalized. Every Triumph Maverick comes with automatic insurance for your peace of mind.
For a $100 deductible (plus shipping and applicable taxes), we will take care of getting a replacement to your doorstep.
This insurance covers the first two years that you own your Triumph Maverick. (Like most guarantees, it is not transferrable if the rollator changes ownership).
