Not Allowed Operations

Please note:

Start by removing the Mainframe, then proceed with other components.

  • To detach the main frame, hold the metal rods located at both sides of the chair’s bottom frame near its base.
  • Be careful of the steel rod within the frame; it may slide out if the connectors are not yet properly installed.
  • When installing brackets, make sure to position yourself behind the lift chair.
  • Retain the shipping box for potential future use.

Assembly Instruction

Please follow the steps below to assemble the MAlDeSITe Electric Lift Chair – AX05.

  3. STEP 3 Connect the hand controller to the main frame.

  5. STEP 5 Install the left connector.

  7. STEP 7 Align screws with all holes first, then secure.

  9. STEP 9 Install brackets behind a raised chair.

Use Instruction

Pre-Use Instructions

  • Before use, ensure the Lift Chair – AX05 is placed on a flat, hard surface in a dry area.
  • Inspect the bottom of the lift chair for debris and remove any if found.
  • Ensure the hand controller is properly connected before use.
  • Ensure all parts are properly installed, including connectors and brackets.
  • Ensure the seat is fully lowered to a horizontal position.
  • Warning: If brackets are not correctly installed, stay clear of the chair front!
  • Warning: If the seat is not fully lowered, keep clear of the seat front!

Hand Controller

  • Depending on the user’s weight, a fully charged battery can support up to 5 uses (testing with a 220lbs user showed 5 full cycles of lowering and raising).
  • During use, the indicator light will be on, showing the battery level.
  • Green: Battery level above 30%, lift chair functions normally.
  • Blue: Battery level between 10% – 30%, lift chair should be charged soon.
  • Red: Battery level below 10%, lift chair must be charged immediately.
  • For charging instructions, refer to the “Charging the Hand Controller” section.

Emergency Stop

  • If the Lift Chair fails to stop normally, press the emergency stop button to halt it immediately.
  • Pressing the emergency stop during descent will lock the lowering function.

Using the AX05 in Suitable Environments

  1. SCENE 1 Before use, flip up the armrests on both sides of the lift chair.

  3. SCENE 3 Lean back against the chair, and fasten the safety belt.
  4. SCENE 4 Lower the armrests on both sides of the lift chair.

  5. SCENE 5 To lower the lift chair, press the down button; to raise it, press the up button.
  6. SCENE 6 When moving up or down, hold onto the armrests or place hands on the knees.
  7. SCENE 7 To stop at the desired height, release the up or down button, and the lift chair will stop moving

Maintenance and Care

Maintenance of the Lift Chair – AX05

  • The Lift Chair – AX05 must undergo a regular maintenance check at least every 12 months.
  • This check includes a visual inspection of all parts, especially load-bearing and assembly components, and all necessary functional tests.
  • If the inspection reveals any defects, wear, or other damage that could affect the safety of the Lift Chair – AX05, it must be taken out of operation until the issues are rectified.
  • All inspections should be carried out by qualified and trained personnel.
  • Maintenance of the Backrest Cushion & Seat Cushion
  • The cushions are made of easy-to-clean PU leather. Use a soft cloth or sponge to wipe the surface, with warm water or mild detergent.
  • Avoid strong cleaning agents, prolonged exposure to sunlight to prevent fading or cracking, and contact with sharp objects to prevent scratches. If stained with water or oil, gently wipe off with a clean cloth immediately to prevent stains.

Maintenance of the Charger

  • The charger requires no maintenance. Clean its exterior only with solvent-free, mild detergents or a damp cloth. Ensure no liquid enters the charging device.
  • Before reusing the charger, ensure it is completely dry.
  • If necessary, store the device in a dry, ventilated area for a few hours, disconnected from the main power source.

Charging the Hand Controller

  • Ensure the hand controller is sufficiently charged before use. It must be charged with the provided specialized charger. Do not charge in damp environments.
  • Connect the hand controller to its dedicated charger.
  • Plug the charger into an outlet. The charger’s indicator will show red while charging and turn green when fully charged.
  • The hand controller’s indicator will also light up, indicating the battery level (green: >30%, blue: 10%-30%, red: <10%).
  • To fully charge the battery, connect it to the charger for about 3 hours. The charger has a protection mechanism and will automatically power off when fully charged.
  • Unplug the charger from the outlet.
  • Disconnect the hand controller from the charger

Storing and Moving the Device

Storing the Lift Chair – AX05 When Not in Use It can be disassembled and folded for storage.

Disassembly Process:

  • Remove the brackets on both sides.
  • Stand behind the chair to prevent tipping hazards.
  • Place the removed brackets behind the chair and secure them with the orange storage cord.
  • Fold the seat cushion towards the chair back and secure it with the safety belt.
  • Flip up the armrests on both sides.

Moving the Device

  • Grab the horizontal bar at the top of the folded chair.
  • Tilt the folded chair.
  • Move the chair using the small caster wheels.
