13946 Tamper Proof Screw Kit
Installation Instructions
WARNING
ELECTRICAL SHOCK
Turn off the electrical supply to the disposer before servicing. Test the
circuit with a voltmeter or circuit tester to ensure the power is off.

Remove 1/4–20 machined screw (4).

Install 1/4–20 tamper proof screw (2).
NOTE: Make sure the tamper proof screw is installed through the top cover retainer (3) as the original machine screw was (see Figure 1). -
Tighten tamper proof screw until securely seated using the hex key (1) provided.

Repeat steps 1 thru 3 for each screw.
NOTE: Retain hex key for future service.
