SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

  • An adult is required to install the unit.
  • Keep small parts away from children when assembling.
  • Keep the cords out of the reach of children to avoid STRANGULATION.
  • Do not place the unit or cables in the cot or within arm’s reach of the baby. Keep at least 1 meter away.
  • Do not touch the plug contacts with sharp or metal objects.
  • Keep the product away from water or any heat sources.
  • ONLY use the power adapters provided.

CAUTION

  • This product is not a toy. Do not allow children to play with it.
  • This baby monitor is not a substitute for responsible adult supervision.
  • About Echo: If the monitor is placed too close to the camera, an echo may be heard.
  • Keep them away from each other or lower the volume, the noise will disappear.
  • There is no battery built in the camera. It MUST be connected with a power adapter while working.
  • Charging the parent unit fully before use is recommended. The unit operates on a battery in the event of a power failure.
  • Unplug the product when unused for long periods of time, or during lightning storms.
  • Clean the camera with soft DRY fabric.
  • For indoor use only.

GETTING STARTED

Step 1:  Powering baby unit / camera

  1. Connect the power adapter into an electrical outlet and to the small port of the camera.
  2. A BLUE indicator will light up when the camera is running (optional).

Step 2:  Charging parent unit/monitor

  1. Connect the power adapter into an electrical outlet and to the small port of the monitor.
  2. A BLUE indicator will light up, which means the battery is charging.
  3. Press and hold Power button for at least 3 seconds to turn the monitor on.

Step 3:  Camera Registration

  1. Press Menu/OK to enter the registration interface. Press Menu / OK again, then the prompt for “Re-Register Camera” appears.
  2. Press the Pair button on the back of the camera within 10 seconds to complete the registration.

Note

  • By default, the camera has already been registered.
  • You do not need to register it again unless the camera loses connection with the monitor.

Step 4:  Placing the camera

  1. Place the camera in a convenient location (e.g., on a table) and point the camera lens towards the area you want to monitor.
  2. Adjust the camera until you are satisfied with the image in the monitor.

Note

  • DO NOT place the camera within the reach of baby.
  • If there is any interference with the image or sound, try moving the units to different locations, and ensure they are not too close to other electrical equipment.

FUNCTIONS & OPERATIONS

ADJUSTING THE VOLUME OF THE MONITOR

  • In the monitoring interface, press UP/DOWN button to adjust the volume.
  • The current volume icon will stay on the screen for 3 seconds.

ADJUSTING BRIGHTNESS OF THE SCREEN

  • In the monitoring interface, press Left button to decrease brightness of the screen or Right button to increase it.
  • The current brightness icon will stay on the screen for 3 seconds.

INTERCOM FUNCTION

  • Press and hold PTT Button on the monitor to speak to your baby through the camera’s loudspeaker.
  • A microphone icon will appear at the bottom of the screen.

DIGITAL ZOOM

  • In the monitoring interface, press the Zoom Button to zoom in on the image on the screen.
  • There are three levels of magnification to choose from (1X/2X/3X switching in cycle).

NIGHT VISION

  • When the ambient light is insufficient, the camera automatically enters Night Vision Mode and the image turns to black and white.

AUDIO MODE

  • In video monitoring interface, press the Power/Back Button to activate Audio Mode.
  • In Audio Mode, the screen will be shut down, but audio transmission keeps working. Saving energy when images are not required. Press any button to exit Audio Mode.

MAIN MENU

Press Menu/OK button in monitoring interface to enter the main menu. It contains 6 items.

  • Press the navigation buttons to move the cursor to select an item and press Menu/OK to enter the submenu.
  • Press the Back button to return to the monitoring interface.

Camera

  1. Camera Register: please refer to GETTING STARTED-Step 3 for instructions.
  2. Camera Power Light: The power indicator on the camera can be set to Auto / Always On / Always Off on the monitor.
  3. Intercom Volume: The intercom volume heard on the camera can be adjusted to Low/ Medium / High level.

Alarm

  • Press Menu / OK button to enter editing mode or confirm the current item.
  • Press Up/Down to skip to the next item
  • Press Left/Right to change the value.
  • Press Back to go back to the previous menu.

Settings

  • Time: There are two items in this menu.
    • To set Time, press Menu / OK button to enter the editing mode, Left / Right to skip to the next time, Up / Down to change the value.
    • To set Format, press Left / Right to switch to a different format.
  • Temperature Unit: There are two options to choose from: Celsius or Fahrenheit.
  • Anti-Flicker: Available in 50/60 Hz options to adapt to your local power frequency for anti-flicker.
  • Alerts Tone: The alert tone of low battery and interrupted connection can be turned on or off. Three different tones can be selected.
  • LCD Backlight: The brightness and activity time of the screen can be adjusted.

VOX (Voice Activation)

In VOX mode, the screen will go into sleep automatically to save energy. It can be woken up when the mic on the camera detects any sound. Enter the VOX submenu to enable or disable the VOX mode.

System Mode

  • Operation mode can be switched between Normal Mode and VOX Mode.

VOX Sensitivity

  • The VOX sensitivity can be switched to Low / Medium / High.

Language

  • There are 8 languages to choose from:
    • English / Français / Español / Português / Italiano / Deutsch / Türkçe / Русский
