SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

  • An adult is required to install the unit.
  • Keep small parts away from children when assembling.
  • Keep cords out of the reach of children to avoid STRANGULATION.
  • Do not place the unit or cables in the cot or within arm’s reach of the baby. Kmeter away.
  • Do not touch the plug contacts with sharp or metal objects.
  • Keep the product away from water or any heat sources.
  • ONLY use the power adapters provided.

CAUTION

  • This product is not a toy. Do not allow children to play with it.

  • This baby monitor is not a substitute for responsible adult supervision.

  • About Echo; If the monitor is placed too close to the camera, an echo may be heard.
    Keep them away from each other or lower the volume, the noise will disappear.

  • For stable, long range signal transmission, please unfold the antenna on the back of the monitor.

  • There is no battery built in the camera. It MUST be connected with a power adapter while working.

  • Charging the parent unit fully before use is recommended. The unit operates on a battery in the event of a power failure.

  • Unplug the product when unused for long periods of time, or during lightning storms.

  • Clean the camera with soft DRY fabric.

  • For indoor use only.

GETTING STARTED

Step 1. Powering baby unit / camera

  1. Connect the power adapter into an electrical outlet and to the small port of the camera.
  2. A BLUE indicator will light up when the camera is running (optional).

Step 2. Charging parent unit / monitor

  1. Connect the power adapter into an electrical outlet and to the small port of the monitor.
  2. A BLUE indicator will light up, which means the battery is charging.
  3. Press and hold the Power button for at least 3 seconds to turn the monitor on. The RED power indicator will light up.

Step 3. Camera Registration

  1. Press Menu / OK to enter the registration interface. Select [Camera->Add Camera-> Camera 1], then press Menu / OK to confirm registration.
  2. Press the Pair button on the back of the camera within 60 seconds to complete the registration.
    Note: By default, the camera has already been registered. You do not need to register it again unless the camera loses connection with the monitor.

Step 4. Placing the camera

  1. Place the camera in a convenient location (e.g., on a table) and point the camera lens towards the area you want to monitor.
  2. Adjust the camera until you are satisfied with the image in the monitor.
    Note: DO NOT place the camera within the reach of baby. If there is any interference with the image or sound, try moving the units to different locations, and ensure they are not too close to other electrical equipment.

FUNCTIONS & OPERATIONS

  1. ADJUSTING THE VOLUME OF THE MONITOR
    Press Volume +/ Volume- Buttons to adjust the volume. The current volume icon will stay on the screen for 3 seconds.

  2. ADJUSTING BRIGHTNESS OF THE SCREEN
    Press Brightness+/Brightness- Buttons to adjust the screen brightness. The current brightness icon will stay on the screen for 3 seconds.

  3. INTERCOM FUNCTION
    Press and hold PTT Button on the monitor to speak to your baby through the camera’s speaker.
    A microphone icon will appear on the screen.

  4. DIGITAL ZOOM
    Press the Zoom Button to zoom in on the image on the screen. There are three levels of magnification to choose from (1X/2X/3X switching in cycle).

  5. NIGHT VISION
    When the ambient light is insufficient, the camera automatically enters Night Vision Mode and the image on the screen turns to black and white.

  6. AUDIO MODE
    Quickly press the Power Button to activate Audio Mode, which is not available if VOX is on. In Audio Mode, the screen will be shut down, but audio transmission keeps working, saving energy when images are not required. Press any button to exit Audio Mode.

  7. PAN AND TILT
    Press any Navigation Buttons to activate the Remote-Control mode. To change the direction that the camera lens points towards, press the Up/Down/Left/Right Button accordingly.

  8. MENU
    Press Menu / OK button to enter the menu. It contains 5 items.

Press the navigation buttons to move the cursor to select an item and press Menu/OK to enter the submenu or confirm the current setting.
Press the Left button to go back to the previous menu.
Press the Back button to return to the full-screen monitoring interface.
8-1. VOX (Voice Activation)
In VOX mode, the screen will go into sleep mode automatically to save energy. It will turn back
on when the mic on the camera detects any sound.
8-1-1) VOX
Enter the VOX submenu to turn on/turn off VOX mode.
8-1-2) VOX Sensitivity
The VOX sensitivity can be switched to Low / Medium / High.
8-2. Alarm
You have several options to set the alarm, either set it to a particular time, or set it to go off in
1/2/4/6 hours. The alarm may go off for one time only, or repeat at the same time every day.
8-3. Camera
8-3-1) Camera Registration: please refer to GETTING STARTED-Step 3 for instructions.
8-3-2) Camera LED: The Camera LED on the camera can be set to Auto/On/Off using the monitor.
8-3-3) PTT Volume: The intercom volume heard ON THE CAMERA can be adjusted to three levels (1/2/3).
8-4. Alert Tones
The alert tones for low battery and interrupted connection can be turned on or off. Three different tones can be selected.
8-5. Settings
8-5-1) Time:
You can switch the time format to a 24H or 12H clock. To adjust the time, select the format, then press Up/Down button to change the value and Right/Left button to move the cursor.
8-5-2) Language:
There are 8 languages to choose from: English
8-5-3) Monitor LED:
When the camera detects any sound, the Monitor LED that is on the left side of the monitor panel will light up, also indicating the loudness of the sound. The brightness of the monitor LED light can be adjusted(off/1/2/3).
8-5-4) Temperature Unit:
There are two options to choose from: Celsius or Fahrenheit.
8-5-5) Anti-Flicker:
Available in 50/60 Hz options to adapt to your local power frequency for anti- flicker.
8-5-6) System Info:
System information includes the hardware/software versions and customer service contact information.
8-5-7) Factory Reset:
This will delete all settings and shut down the device.

MULTIPLE-CAMERA OPERATION

  1. Add/ Delete Camera:
    Press Menu/OK to enter the registration interface. Select [Camera-> Add Camera-> Camera 2], then press Menu/OK to confirm registration.
    Press the Pair button on the back of the camera within 60 seconds to complete the registration.
    Same process applies to registering more cameras.
    To disconnect a camera, select [Delete Camera], choose the associated camera then press Menu/OK button to cancel the registration.
    Note: one monitor can pair with up to four cameras simultaneously.

  2. Change Camera Channels:
    Select [View Camera] then press Menu/OK button on the Camera channel (Camera 1/Camera 2/Camera 3/Camera 4) that you would like to see on the screen.
    To change channels automatically, select [Scan] and press the Menu/OK button. Then select [Scan Delay] to set the scan intervals for view changing (10/15/20/30 seconds).

  3. To change settings on different cameras:
    By changing the setting of one camera on the monitor, all the other connected camera’s settings, including VOX mode on/off; camera speaker’s volume; camera LED Auto/On/Off will be updated as well. The only function that cannot be changed simultaneously is the zoom-in function

  4. Icon Status:

Icons Status Description Meaning
Flashing red icon Sound has been detected from that camera, but the view

of that camera has not been checked.
| White icon| The camera channel is currently shown on screen.
| White icon with cross sign| The camera channel is currently activated but signal is disconnected.
| Grey icon with cross sign| Registered but disconnected camera
| Grey icon| Camera is registered but its view is currently not shown on screen.
