Important Safeguards
When using the electrical appliance,basic precautions should always be followed including the following:
Read all instructions.
- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance.
- Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.

- The appliances are not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote-control system.
- Clean surfaces in contact with food.
- Before use, check that the voltage of wall outlet corresponds to the one shown on the rating plate.
- To protect against electric shock do not immerse cord, plugs, or housing in water or other liquid.
- Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts.
- Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
- Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot oil or other hot liquids.
- Do not touch any moving or spinning parts of the machine when baking.
- Never switch on the appliance without properly placed bread pan filled ingredients.
- Never beat the bread pan on the top or edge to remove the pan, this may damage the bread pan.
- Always attach plug to appliance first, then plug cord into the wall outlet. To disconnect, turn any control to OFF, then remove plug from wall outlet.
- The appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote-control system.
- Do not operate the unit without bread pan placed in the chamber to avoid damaging the appliance.
- The use of attachments not recommended by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock or injury.
- Do not use it outdoors.
- Do not use appliance for other than intended use.

- A short power-supply cord should be used to reduce the risk resulting from becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord.
- Longer extension cords are available and may be used if care is exercised in their use.
- If a longer extension cord is used:
- The marked electrical rating of the cord set or extension cord should be at least as great as the electrical rating of the appliance; and
- The cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the countertop or table top where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over unintentionally. If the appliance is of the grounded type, the extension cord should be a grounding-type 3-wire cord.
