How to Find the Optimal Level for Your Dog
Follow the steps below to find the best level:
- Start from sensitivity level 1 to see the reaction of the dog when it barks.
- Gradually increase the sensitivity until your dog responds reliably.
- If your dog still does not respond at sensitivity level 5, check “Installing the Anti-Bark Collar” (p. 13). If your dog has long or bushy hair, a long contact point is installed, or the hair around the contact point needs to be trimmed. If the “contact point” is not in contact with the dog’s skin, no static irritation will occur.
- Note: For dog with shorter coats use the 2 contact points and install the conductive silicone caps onto the contact points to make it softer, which may be better for your dog’s skin. For dog with thicker coats, please install contact spring sheet.
- Note: If you have taken all of these steps and the dog is still unresponsive, see “How to Use the Test Light Tool” on page 12.
How to Install Contact Points
How to Use the Test Light Tool
- Turn on the electric shock mode, select “5” gear to enter the test.
- Put the lamp test tool vertically on the 2 contact points, make sure the metal wire directly touches the top of the 2 points.
- Say “WO WO” to the microphone, and the device responds to the buzzer and vibration functions when the first sound is detected. The test light will come on after the 2nd tone is detected.
NOTE: For dogs with shorter coats, use 2 contact points and install the conductive silicone caps on the contact points to make them softer, which may be better for your dog’s skin.
Wearing a Bark Collar
The point of contact must be in direct contact with the dog’s neck skin. Check the tightness of the collar by inserting 2 fingers firmly between the collar and the neck.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
Q: Why does the product not work when the dog barks?
A: Please first make sure the product is snug, but loose enough that one finger can be placed between the strap and the pet’s neck, some dogs bark very weakly, in this case, you need to turn up the sensitivity level. There may also be a small chance that a thick coat around the neck will reduce the barking sensation. Trim the coat close to the area where the product will be placed. -
Q: Why is it sometimes triggered when the dog does not bark in a noisy environment?
A: Although we have optimized the bark detection to the best, some ambient noises may have a frequency similar to the bark and there may be a small chance of activating the product. Please lower the sensitivity level. -
Q: Can it be used when there are other dogs playing?
A: Dogs bark and get excited when they are playing. For your pet’s comfort and safety, we do not recommend using this product in such environments. -
Q: How do I know if I can use this product for my dog?
A: This product is specially designed for healthy dogs over 6 months old. Most importantly, this product should not be used on unhealthy or aggressive dogs, please consult your veterinarian or certified trainer if you are unsure whether this product is suitable for your pet. -
Q: Will my dog stop barking completely?
A: The anti-bark collar effectively and humanely stops all barking when worn and should only be worn during periods of unwanted barking. -
Q: Is the anti-bark collar safe and humane?
A: Yes, anti-bark collars are designed to get your dog’s attention, not punish him. However, the initial static shock correction may scare your dog. -
Q: Are bark collars waterproof?
A: The bark collar is IPX7 rainproof, please keep the bark collar away from water.
Troubleshooting
Q: My dog keeps barking and the anti-bark collar is not working.
A: Please check whether the power of the device is sufficient, make sure the
device is turned on, check whether the contact point of the collar is close to
the dog’s skin, and check whether the microphone hole is blocked. Sensitivity
level adjustment 5, if the problem is still not solved, please feel free to
