Thank you very much for purchasing an
ACACIA product. To use this product safely and correctly, please read these
instructions carefully. After reading these instructions, keep this manual in
a safe place for future reference. Although this product is expected to be
complete and safe, please check that all assembly parts are included before
attempting to assemble the product. Practice assembling and handling the
product in a safe location before using it in the field. If you find anything
in the instruction manual that is difficult to understand, or a defect with
the product, stop using it immediately and contact the dealers where you
purchased the product, or ACACIA Customer Service.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Before use: please read thoroughly to ensure safety and to avoid
accidents.
WARNING: Misuse could result in serious injury to the user.
- Pay close attention to the weather. If extreme weather is in the forecast, pack up camp and evacuate to a safe place.
- Choose a flat, well-drained area with firm ground to set up the canopy combined with the tent. Choose an area where there is no chance of avalanches, landslides, wind gusts, or sudden flooding.
CAUTION: Misuse could result in injury to the user and/or damage to property.
- This product is not intended to be in permanent use.
- Sunlight can cause the surface of the canopy to heat up, potentially causing low-temperature burns.
- Do not assemble or use the canopy aclose to a bonfire, fireworks, etc. Flying sparks can create holes in the canopy fabric.
- Firmly hold the canopy pole when assembling and disassembling the canopy. Unexpected accidents may occur due to the pole ends recoiling, etc. so ensure that the surroundings are safe, with no other people in the vicinity.
- Firmly secure the pegs, guy lines, etc.
- If the canopy is left in the sun for long periods, the materials may fade in color or the fabric may deteriorate and lose strength. Do not leave the canopy set up permanenily.
CONTENTS & PART NAMES
Two-mode Introduction
The Canopy has two connection modes with Space Acacia Tent. The first is the standard three-season mode, which provides a large shading area and creates a more comfortable environment both inside and outside the tent. The second mode is the winter insulation mode, which wraps around the tent to provide insulation and keep the interior warmer.
- NOTE: The Canopy cannot be used independently and needs to be set up in conjunction with Space Acacia Tent.
Standard Three-Season Mode
- Spread the Canopy, and locate the two pre-positioned golden buckles above the logo on the back side of the Canopy. Fasten each one to the corresponding gold “O” ring above the tent door. Next, pull the Canopy along the perimeter of the tent until it covers the entire tent. Finally, secure the positioning buckles above the corners of each tent.
- To set up the vestibule, take out the vestibule poles and adjust the vestibule poles to the marked position. Insert the pointed ends into the metal rings on the logo side and attach them to the guy lines. Then, unfold the Canopy and secure the guy lines with a stakes. Set up the vestibule on the opposite side of the tent as well.
There are three corresponding marker positions, among which positions 1 and 2 are suggested heights for the vestibule, which can be adjusted independently. When it rains, it is recommended to adjust either side of the vestibule poles to the position of the “rain marker” to prevent rainwater from accumulating.
*After securing the pole’s guy line, please also put the 0-ring over the pole to prevent the zipper from blowing open. - Pull the guy lines 1-6 to secure the Canopy to the appropriate angle with stakes.
Winter Insulation Mode
- Secure the two “O” rings at the bottom of the logo side along with the tent to a stake in the ground. The same operation should be carried out on the opposite side accordingly.
* With Space Acacia Floor XL, secure the two “O” rings at the bottom of the logo side along with the tent to the corresponding hook on the floor. The same operation should be carried out on the opposite side accordingly.
- Wrap the Canopy sides around the tent. On the inner surface of each side, there is a metal buckle. Fasten each one to the “O” ring on the tent to secure it in place.
- Bring together the two outermost webbings on each side of the Canopy and secure them with one stake in the ground. The length of the webbing can be adjusted to change the position of the stake.
- Attach the buckles on both sides of the logo to their respective “O” rings. The same operation should be carried out on the opposite side accordingly.
- Finally, position and secure the two intersecting pieces of fabric with the Velcro. The same operation should be carried out on the opposite side accordingly.
CANOPY STORAGE STEPS
- Remove all stakes, collapse the vestibule poles, and store all components in their designated bag.
- Unbuckle all buckles and remove the Canopy from the tent. Ensure the zipper of the Canopy is zipped up. Fold it and store it in the carrying bag.
