TOOLS YOU MAY NEED
Drop-in/Under-mount Basin Installation Method
Step1
There are two sink-opening methods below, please choose according to vour
needs.
- Cut the sink template along the outline and place it in a suitable position on the cabinet countertop. And mark the opening line around the outline of the sink template.
- Place the sink upside down on the cabinet countertop, and trace the outline with a marker according to the professional’s advice.
- Note : Mesa the opening line is according to the internal sink size.
Step2
Drill pilot holes in the opening line on the countertop for the cutting machine to work. Then use a cutting machine to cut out the opening along the outline, and smooth the cut with a sander finally.
Step 3
There are 2 ways to fix the sink, please choose the appropriate method
according to your needs.
For fixing the drop-in basin
Check the fitting position of the sink and the countertop and clean the dust and debris on the countertop. Paste the silicone sealant on the back edge of the sink carefully.
For fixing the under-mount basin
- Drilling holes for the clips
On the underside of the counter, mark the location of the twelve holes for the clips. These holes should be equally spaced around the perimeter of the cutout. Using an electric drill with an 11mm drill bit, drill each hole so that it is 11 mm in diameter and 14 mm deep. Insert the plastic caps from each of the clips into each of the installation holes.
Fixing the sink
Insert the screws (1) loosely in the holes that you drilled in the underside
of the counter. Ensure that you use the clips in the locations that have the
narrowest clearance between the sink and counter
Place a small bead of silicone sealant (not included) around the upper lip of
the sink (A) Carefully place the sink (A) into its location under the counter,
with the lip of the sink being supported by the clips (AA). Tighten the screws
(1) evenly, ensuring the sink (A) remains in place. Wipe away any excess
silicone and, for best results, allow the bond to rest undisturbed for 8 hours
or overnight.
Installation Steps For Drain & Overflow (Optional)
- Put the drainer into the drain hole of the sink, and screw on the pipe fitting.
- Apply sealant to the edge of the overflow, then glue the silicone seal to the edge of the overflow.
- After the seal is firmly fixed on the overflow, apply a sealant to the edge of the overflow again.
- Align the overflow with the overflow hole of the sink and glue it to the screw hole of the overflow
- Tighten the screws with a Phillips screwdriver at the overflow hole to reinforce the overflow
- Put the silicone seal into the downpipe connection.
- Tighten the drain hose and connect it to the drain.
- Put the silicone sealing ring into the connection between the sewer hose and the sewer pipe. Tighten the hose
- Insert the overflow pipe into the downpipe and tighten it
- Connect the drain hose port to the drain port

Cleaning
- Daily, regular cleaning to remove dirt and prevent staining is recommended. Use liquid dish detergent, water, and a soft household sponge.
- Mild, non-abrasive cleaners can be used with a nylon scrub pad. To ensure a uniform appearance in a stainless steel sink surface, rinse with water and wipe down the sink with a soft, dry cloth. Drying the sink will prevent water spots caused by time in the water.
- Remove stubborn stains from lime or calcium deposits by pouring a little warm vinegar or vinegar-based cleaner into the sink and allow it to sit for a few minutes. Rinse with clean water and dry.
Please note chlorides are found in almost all soap, detergents, bleaches, and cleansers. Chlorides can be harsh on stainless steel. Rinse your sink thoroughly after each use to remove it.
Cleaning
No. | Problems | Cause | Solution |
---|---|---|---|
1 | **** The drain leaks | 1. The screw gets loose 2. The sealer is not | |
installed | 1. Tighten the nut 2. Install the sealer | ||
2 | **** Rust Spots | The sink is eroded by corrosive gases, |
liquids, and dust from the newly renovated- ed house, or it has been ex- exposed to acidic and alkaline substances for a long time.| **** Use metal cleaners to remove rust spots.
3
| Water Scale or discoloration of the surface of the sink| Calcium
and magnesium minerals in tap water or defi- cient substances in sewage remain
on the surface of the sink to form.| Wipe back and forth on the dirty surface
with a dry rag and washing powder, rinse the sink with clean water after
cleaning, and finally dry the water.
4| Scratches| Scratches are inevitable during your usage over
time.| To treat, use a nylon pad with an iron-free abrasive polishing
compound. Follow the original polish lines to blend out the scratch in a small area. Be cautious not to overdo the process,
as cleaning too aggressively could result in a bright spot.
