How to detect the battery level of the keyboard or ensure that the battery level has been successfully charged?

  1. If the LED charging indicator lights up in red for a long time, it means that is charging.
  2. After the keyboard is successfully connected to the iPad. swipe right on the iPad home screen. The keyboard battery life is subjeted to the bluetooth icon, see jpg 1.

NOTICE BEFORE CONNECTING

  1. Make sure your iPad ios system is up to 14.6 or above

STEPS FOR CONNECTION: for iPad Pro 12.9 (P129)

  1. Holding press the power button to turn on the iPad keyboard case. (The RGB backlight will turn on and then turn off automatically a second)
  2. Then to press the combination keys Fn” and “C” together, the blue wireless indicator will flash which shows the keyboard is waiting for pairing mode.
  3. Turn on your iPad >>>Setting >>>Bluetooth, and search the “iPad-keyboard” on the list, then tap it for connection. (the device is connected when the Bluetooth indicator stops flashing)

STEPS FOR CONNECTION: for iPad Pro 11/iPad Air 10.9(P11)

  1.  Double-click/touch the power button to turn on the iPad keyboard case. (The RGB backlight will turn on and then turn off automatically a second).
  2. Then to press the combination keys “Fn” and “C” together, the blue wireless indicator will flash which shows the keyboard is waiting for pairing mode.
  3. Turn on your iPad >>>Setting >>>Bluetooth, and search the “iPad-keyboard” on the list, then tap it for connection.(the device is connected when the Bluetooth indicator stops flashing).

NOTE:

  1. When the keyboard is turned on, if there is no signal input for more than 10 minutes, it will automatically enter sleep mode. At this time, you only need to double-click any button to re-activate the keyboard. (do not need to turn on/off the power and reconnect again)
  2. When reconnecting Bluetooth, the touchpad will have a slight delay of about 3 seconds, which is normal, because the touchpad needs to retrieve Bluetooth and connect to it.

RGB BACKLIGHT:

  1. Backlight modes: Press to switch 7 different backlight modes or turn off the RGB backlight.

    • NOTE: For power saving, if you don’t touch the keyboard for 5 seconds, the backlit will go off automatically, it will light up again when you press any key.

RGB BACKLIGHT:

TRACKPAD GESTURE DESCRIPTION

One Finger

  • Tap: Press with one finger until it feels a little bit.
  • Tap: and hold Press and hold with one finger.
  • Open the Dock: Swipe the pointer across the bottom of the screen with one finger.
  • Go to the home screen: When the dock appears, swipe the pointer across the bottom of the screen again.
  • Open “Notification Center”; Move the pointer to the status icon in the upper left corner of the screen with one finger, then tap or swipe up again with one finger.
  • Open ‘Control Center: Move the pointer to the status icon in the upper right corner of the screen with one finger, then tap or swipe up again with one finger.
  • Drag: Tap and hold the item, then slide your finger on the touchpad to move it.

Double Fingers

  • Auxiliary tap: Move the cursor to the APP icon with one finger, then tap or tap with two fingers to open the APP menu.
  • Scroll up or down: Swipe up or down with two fingers.
  • Scroll left or right: Swipe left or right with two fingers.
  • Turn on the Today view: When the home screen or lock screen is visible, swipe right with two fingers.
  • Open search from the home screen: Swipe down with two fingers.
  • Zoom: Place two fingers close together, spread to zoom in, or pinch to zoom out.

BE SURE THAT THE TOUCHPAD CAN BE USED ON YOUR IPAD AS BELOW STEPS:

  1. You need to complete the below settings: Settings/Accessibility/Touch/AssistiveTouch/ AssistiveTouch On
  2. Make sure your iPad Software Version is up to 14.6 or above version.
  3. Choose the right “Keyboard” on your iPad General/Keyboard/Keyboards/English(US)/QWERTY

Touchpad /Gesture

  1. Make sure the iPadOS operation system up to 14.6 and above.
  2. Press to turn on/off the touch function.
  3. After successfully turning on the touchpad, when moving the touchpad with your hand, you will see a cursor appear on the iPad screen.
  4. The shortcut gestures are based on the default setting. Kindly refer to our gesture instrctions manual.
  5. Kindly mind your hands on the touchpad when typing, otherwise, your cursor may move randomly. you can simply turn it on or off.
  6. Every time to connects the Bluetooth, the touchpad will have a slight delay of about, which is normal, because the touchpad needs to retrieve Bluetooth and connect to it.

You can adjust the cursor tracking speed as one of the below settings:

  1. Settings/Accessibility/Touch/Assistive: Touch On the bottom of this page, you can adjust tracking sensitivity, the cursor will be slower when it’s closer to the tortoise, and be more sensitive when it’s close to the rabbit.
  2. Settings/General/Trackpad &Mouse: You can adjust tracking sensitivity, the cursor will be slower when it’s closer to the tortoise and be more sensitive when it’s close to the rabbit.

How to update your iPadOS to 14,6?
To upgrade your iPad to the latest version:

  1. Open your device’s Settings > General > Software Update.

TROUBLESHOOTING

How to confirm the keyboard needs to be charged?

  1. When the low battery indicator(red sign) blinks, please use the included TYPE-C cable with your iPad charger to recharge it. The red indicator stays on during recharging. After the charging is completed, the green indicator will light up.

  2. If you do not use the keyboard for a long time. Please recharge your keyboard in time (once of two months).
    Note: Keep at normal temperature and charge at normal voltage. If you don’ used it for a long time, you need to charge your keyboard in time( once of two months).
    What do to do if the keyboard can’t connect to your iPad?

  3. Make sure a keyboard has already been paired via Bluetooth.

  4. The Bluetooth keyboard is charged.

  5. The Bluetooth keyboard is within 33 feet.

  6. Please delete all devices on your iPad Bluetooth list, then restart your iPad Bluetooth and restart the keyboard.

  7. Not compatible with multiple device connections, only supports one-by-one connection.

  8. When the battery is low, the Bluetooth connection may be interrupted.

How to press the symbol buttons?

  • After bluetooth is connected well, just press the combination Keys: “Shift” and ” any symbol “. For example, “Shift” and “@ ” then you will get “@” on your iPad.

Why do I press A but get a Z

  • Go to settings / keyboard/keyboard/English(US) /QWERTY.

How to change between lowercase and uppercase on the keyboard?

  1. The caps lock default function is to switch languages. So to type capital letters on the keyboard, please turn off the cap lock default function first.
  2. Go to your iPad settings- Keyboards setting- hardware keyboard- turn off the toggle of switch languages using caps lock”, then you can change between lowercase and uppercase by pressing the caps lock key.

How to do if the space bar doesn’t work?

  1. You can try the below settings first: Settings/Accessibility/Keyboards/Full KeyboardAccess/Commands/
  2. Then change the settings for “Space” from “activate” to “Clear”. If it comes back, then you can also turn Off Full KeyboardAccess.
  3. Once it is cleared, the space bar will work fine.

What do to do if some keys don’t work?

  • Some of the keys do not work, please try to reset the keyboard by pressing and holding the combination key”L+S+Z” for 3s, you’ll see the indicator flash once.
  • It shows the keyboard has been reset. After resetting the keyboard, please pair the keyboard with your iPad again.

If there is a delay after you press the keys, please kindly check one of the iPad Settings as below:

  • Settings/Accessibility/Keyboards/Slow Keys Off.
  • Settings/Accessibility/Keyboards/Slow Keys On 0.1 Seconds.

If there are repeated characters after you press a certain key, please kindly check one of the iPad Settings as below:

  • Settings/Accessibility/Keyboards/Key Repeat On 0.1
  • SecondsSettings/Accessibility/Keyboards/Key Repeat Off.T

Be sure that touchpad can be used on your iPad as below steps:

  1. You need to complete the below settings: Settings/Accessibility/Touch/Assistive Touch/Assistive Touch On
  2. Make sure your iPad Software Version is up to 14.6 or above version.
  3. Choose the right “Keyboard” on your iPad General/Keyboard/Keyboards/English(US)/QWERTY

If you have unwanted auto-correction or punctuation, please follow these steps:

  1. Open Settings app > General> Keyboard > Hardware Keyboard;
