INSTRUCTIONS

FLASHLIGHT CONSTRUCTION
The PS700 was constructed with a stainless-steel core and a premium grade fiberglass filled nylon exterior. Both materials were selected by COAST engineers specifically for strength, durability, and storm resistant capabilities.

CHANGING THE BRIGHTNESS SETTINGS
The PS700 features COAST’s patented PURE BEAM™ Optic and a three-setting lighting sequence.
Use the power button to turn on the flashlight, as well as cycle through Medium, High, and Low brightness settings. Press the power button once for Medium, twice for High, and three times for Low.

ADJUSTING THE BEAM
The PS700 was designed with proprietary TWIST FOCUS™ technology, and can be easily adjusted from a PURE BEAM™ Flood to a BULLS-EYE™ Spot Beam. To pinpoint the beam on a precise area, rotate the bezel clockwise.
To expand the beam and maximize the lighting area, rotate the bezel counterclockwise. Because of the waterproof construction, the TWIST FOCUS™ may be stiff when first used.

USING THE SIDE AREA LIGHTS
The PS700 features two dual-color SIDE AREA LIGHTS embedded on either side of the handle. Press the SIDE AREA LIGHT Power Button once to activate one side in white mode.
Press the power button twice to turn on both SIDE AREA LIGHTS in white mode. Press it three times to switch the SIDE AREA LIGHTS from white mode to red mode. Press the power button four times to activate flashing red mode.

MOUNTING THE FLASHLIGHT
The PS700 is equipped with a magnetic tail cap for hands-free use. To mount the flashlight, place the end cap on a magnetic surface.

POWERING THE FLASHLIGHT
The PS700 was designed on COAST’s Dual Power™ platform and can be powered by four COAST EXTREME PERFORMANCE™ alkaline batteries (included) or a COAST ZITHION-X™ Rechargeable Battery (not included).
To change the batteries, unscrew the tail cap and open the battery compartment. Remove all four batteries and discard them. Install four new AA alkaline batteries with the positive terminals oriented toward the bezel of the flashlight.
Then replace the tail cap.

COAST’s Lifetime Warranty stands firm behind your product, providing you the assurance that COAST knives, tools, flashlights and headlamps, are warrantied against defects in workmanship for the life of the product as long as the original purchaser owns the product for a maximum of 100 years. Any problem at all? Just let us know—we’ll repair or replace your product. Proof of purchase is required to claim this warranty.
Please understand this warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, nor damage resulting from misuse or neglect. The warranty also does not cover batteries and charging accessories (or damage caused by either).
Batteries or damage caused by batteries (i.e. leakage) are also not included in the Warranty.

CAUTION
The PS700 is only compatible with AA alkaline batteries, or a ZITHION-X™ Rechargeable Battery. Do not attempt to use aftermarket rechargeable batteries to power the PS700.
