MOFFATT MR16 Bulb Replacement
CAUTION! Risk of shock, be sure cord is unplugged from wall before beginning disassembly.
- Remove the retaining ring from shade with a flathead screwdriver.
- Hold lamp upside down and tap on shade with hand until bulb begins to exit the shade.
- To remove the bulb from the socket pull on both the bulb and socket (Do not pull on the wires).
- Install the new bulb by pushing the two pins at the bottom of the bulb into the holes of the socket.
- Place the new bulb into the shade making sure the wires are positioned to the bottom of the shade.
- Reinstall the retaining ring by pushing in on the sides and placing inside the shade. Once the ring is inside let it expand into place. It should be located in the groove just below the top lip of the shade.
