GENERAL SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:

1. Read all instructions.
2. To protect against electric shock, do not immerse cord, plug or base unit in water or other liquid.
3. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
4. Unplug form outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Unplug before putting on or taking off pats, and allow to cool before cleaning.
5. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner, Return appliance to the service center for examination. repair or adjustment.
6. Non-recommended accessory may cause hazard.
7. Do not use outdoors.
8. Do not let cord hang over edge of table of counter, or touch hot surfaces.
9. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
10. Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot food, water, or other hot liquids.
11. Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
12. Lift and open cover carefully to avoid scalding, and allow water to drip into rice cooker.
13. Do not use steel wool or any metallic scouring pad to clean the electrical pin terminals on the appliance, metal slivers can reduce electrical spacing and cause a shock hazard.
14. To reduce the risk of electrical shock, cook only in removable container, do not pour liquid into outer pan.
15. CAUTION: This appliance generates heat and escaping steam during use.
16. All users of this appliance must read and understand this owner’s manual before operating or cleaning this appliance.
17. The cord to this appliance should be plugged into a 220V-240V ac electrical outlet only.
18. Always attach plug to the rice cooker first, then plug into the wall outlet.
19. When using this appliance, provide adequate air space above and on all sides for air circulation. Do not allow this appliance to touch curtains, wall coverings, clothing, dish towels or other flammable materials during use.
20. Do not leave this appliance unattended during use.
21. This appliance generates steam, do not operate uncovered.
22. If this appliance begins to malfunction during use immediately unplug the cord, do not use or attempt to repair the malfunctioning appliance! Do not use the inner pot if cracked or chipped.
23. This appliance is not prepared to physically weak and the slow response or have mental disorders use (including children), unless the security of its responsibility for the guidance or assistance of safe use.
24. Children should be moritored to ensure they would not play appliance.

OPERATION INSTRUCTION

1. Wash the rice and put it into the cooker:
   Wash the rice in another container and put it into the cooker after washing.
   Generally, with one cup of rice, one & a half cups of water to be added, do not wash rice directly in the aluminum cooker, so as to prevent the deformation of cooker bottom by collision, affecting the normal operation.

2. Place the aluminum cooker correctly in position:
   Make sure there is no foreign matters stick to heat element and cooker bottom, them put the aluminum cooker into the outer shell. At the same time, tum the aluminum cooker in clockwise and counter clockwise direction several times to ensure close contact between the inner pot bottom and heat element.

3. Rice cooking:
   Insert the plug in the cooker, plug in the electric outlet, press the heating button, when the rice cooker indicating light turns on, the rice cooker is in the cooking process.

4. Function of heat preservation:
   After “ cook rice” indicating light turns off, the heat preservation indicating light turns goes on, at this time the cooker automatically goes to heat preservation process, if heat preservation is not so required, please pull out the power plug immediately, so as to extend the operation lift of cooker.

TROUBLE-SHOOTING

When you feel the food did not cooked well, or you think there are some problem with the cooker, please check bellow:

1. If you put too much food or water inside?
2. Check the marking in the pot, if your food more than it shows
3. If the pot shape broke?
4. If you put hot water to cook?
5. Check if the back bottom of the pot and the heating plate with dirty
6. ls there power off when cooking?
7. Did not cover the lid well
8. If there are some dirty or food on the side line of the pot.
9. Keeping warm too long time.
10. The pot did not clean before cook.

CARE AND CLEANING

1. Cleaning the detach able inner lid, inner pot, rice scoop and measuring cup before using.
2. Do not immerse the heating body of the rice cooker in water or any other liquid.
3. Before cleaning, unplug the unit from the mains and let it cool down completely.
4. Use only a damp cloth to wipe the outside of the unit, DO NOT immerse the main body in water.
